Okay i got a leak for the 2D Mario ... the boss fight against Bowser is apparently a Battle of the Bands, Guitar Hero like, and yes, Bowser will play and sing Peaches as his final song.

Or... listen...what if... they make, a new entry in the Mana series?

(yeah, im to often triggered in this forum by people wanting remakes, especially for series that are screaming for a new Entry.
The last new was a mobile game in 2016, and since 2018 that we had yearly releases of collections, remakes or remaster.
(And last year there was a mobile gacha game....T.T just a good full fledged new entry please)

I agree about the remakes, but it's not just this forum - it's pretty much everywhere online. (And then many of the same people begging for remakes complain that the gaming industry is stale and afraid of experimenting, etc).

Edit: by the way I'm pretty sure Square announced that they're working on a new console Mana game a year or two ago.

Yes there is both a new Saga and Mana in dev

It no longer is tho. In the Switch gen, 3D Zelda and 3D Mario outright surpass 2D Mario sales. It's time for Nintendo to actually get crazy and gain back the giga mass appeal of the Wii/DS entries

Gut feeling, but i think if it's going to launch within the next 6 to 8 months, then you can definitely expect it to be shown.

I think they're very wary (what a sentence...) about the game after the public delay/restart and them having to do an "apology" video for it.
So in my mind, next time they will show it, it's almost ready to launch.

Opener would be 2D Mario.

MP4 is a game people actively look for, so it'll be the perfect "One more thing" closer.
 
After one month of waiting time, today I finally got Tears of the Kingdom in the mail.

I wanted to play it as early as possible, but fate had better plans. The wait until tomorrow couldn't have been made easier for me.

I hope the direct is airing tomorrow and not thursday.
I'll be at a party thursday evening, and directs happen at around 11pm in Europe. Oh well, I'll just force everyone to watch it with me.

I would like the following:

  • 2D Mario
  • 3D Donkey Kong (like Kirby & The Forgotten Land)
  • Animal Crossing spin-off title
  • More 3DS game ports/remakes

Besides these, I'm not demanding much, at least I don't think.

Just keep in mind 11pm JST. Just type "11pm JST" (no need to even type "11pm JST in PT" or whatever) on google, and google automatically tells you the hour in your local time !

They don't have summer time/winter time like us so it change everytime for us, it can get confusing, so just keep 11pm JST in mind.

Yeah, some act as if remakes are "free", and some forms of remasters and remakes can be used to fill pipelines in low periods (Xenoblade Cronicles 1 DE is probably THE example), but to many of them are simply the same as developing a new game.
Gaming is also way worse in that regard then other mediums. Even reboots of movies are usually way more different and open to change then most VG remakes.

I mostly just mentioned this forum cause for the most part i gave up on online gamign comunities. People in gaming tend way to much to remakes,

Yeah yeah, exactly my point. This thread may be only talking about Koizumi when he will be the host in this one but Takahashi trying all kinds of hairstyles is also my favorite part of the cycle.
