Obviously a good news for the west coast people but makes me a little sad to see Universal (and Disney) copy and paste so many rides and lands across their different properties. Nintendo is a vast brand, there should be enough ride ideas for each Super Nintendo World to be unique.

What would be your beginners tips? Just talk to everyone to find out what to do / where to go?

I’ve always wanted to play through it but I get really anxious at the thought of the timer and it seems like sort of an older style designed game in terms of not holding your hand at all.

It’s been a long road but we’re almost there. The song has been done since the beginning of November. It just needs a music video now.

My IRL friend is a college film student and he is doing all of the cinematography for the video, as well as co-directing it with me! He and I used to film stupid little skits all the time, back in 2017/18. Most were not released publicly; we’d just spend an afternoon making videos to make ourselves laugh.

But we’ve both been so busy with our postsecondary educations and jobs that we haven’t been able to make a video together for years, despite remaining close friends. So it’s SUPER cool to me that after 5 years, we’re working on a project that is WAAAY bigger than anything we’ve done before.

My Nintendo song will release in February, along with its music video. I am so INCREDIBLY excited to share it with you. By the time it releases, I will have been working on it for nearly nine months.

This is my passion project and something I care very deeply about. I really hope that when it releases, you’ll give the video a watch. It was largely inspired by the community here on Famiboards, so I want you all to be some of the first to see it!

(Plus, I may have gotten some help from familiar users on Famiboards, so check the credits in description upon release!)

Day 1 has wrapped filming! Every step that this project moves further, I get more excited with it. Tomorrow we are right back at it!

Grabbed Lumines, Giana Sisters and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2(loved the first one, but I have it physically so I figured at $12 it was nice to have one digitally). Tempted by ace angler still, tho Kaiju Rancher I’ll wait and see if it hits half off in 3-4 months like NB games tend to. Might for AA as well but not decided yet

I am off to see Avatar with a friend. I was sort of ambivalent on the movie but my friend really wanted to see it. I rewatched the first one (on my phone, which I’m sure is the cinematic experience James Cameron intended) because it had been forever since I saw it and I didn’t really remember it and now I’m…more excited? It should be a fun time at the movies if nothing else, which is all I really want tbh.

after successfully avoiding it for over two years i finally caught it in august. the good news is that 2022 (and 2023) covid isn’t the same as 2020 covid. it’s not as potent. it wasn’t like a fun experience, i did feel achey and crummy, but it wasn’t as terrible as i was fearing and i haven’t had any long-term side effects that i can tell.

i know it’s especially scary if you’re immunocompromised though. wishing you a swift recovery and sending happy healthy vibes your way <3
 
Taking a week trip to Dallas for work and to see family. Should I bring my Steam Deck or Switch? 🤔

I'm leaning towards switch because my niece would want to play Just Dance with me
 
Picking shirts for when I'm on the road is the hardest thing. I always end up packing more than I need by leaps and bounds.

Very excited to get my Ayaneo GEEK in the next month and finally have a way to play the only game Sony's put out in the past 5 years that I have a strong interest in.... Super Mario 3D World 2 Sackboy A Big Adventure

As an aside, did y'all go clockwise or counterclockwise when tackling gyms? I started with the grass leader to the west of the school but then started going counter clockwise with titans, gym leaders and Team Star
