Having the flu this week made me actually deep dive in Mario Galaxy for the first time. What an amazing game. Very deserving of being on metacritics top games of all time I'd say.

Probably in my top 3 games of all time. It's funny because when I replay it and I start levels I don't really remember liking or as just a filler to get to my next favorite galaxy (Like a water level or snow level), I end up having just as much fun with those "less memorable" stages as I do with the more unique and memorable galaxies. Even when I'm like "I'm not in the mood to play that", I end up doing having a blast.
 
I can't believe how easy it was to pick colors in the Superfamimarket. Only Lavender is both a Pokémon town and a Marillion song, so it was a no brainer.

Other colors are objectively lesser and a waste of 50 coins.

Implementing these combat traits is way easier than I expected. Also wanted to add some "elite" affixes like in Diablo, we'll see how doable that is.

Late to the party, and I forgot who was discussing this, but Mario vs DK in the film is riffing of both the arcade game and Smash. The platform they're on is a red metal girder with a blue ladder hanging off of it, like the levels from the original arcade game. Nice densely layered reference.

Lawful neutral. I don't give a shit how small the plate is or how many fries there are or how high they need to be piled, I don't want them sitting in ketchup for a moment longer than they have to.

And who the hell uses a special ketchup bowl, that's for suckers.
 
I have indulged in a variation of Chaotic Evil when it comes to ketchup and McDonald fries. I am already too vulnerable and will not elaborate further.

That being said, I have no regrets and the behaviour will continue in the privacy and comfort of my own home.

I don't know where Chaotic Cajun lands unless it's on a 3D plane not yet shown in the above image, but I love the alliterative name
