I have Mastodon too. We should connect that one.I’ve got Mastedon and Hive so far, Hive looks to be the closer one to Twitter and it’s ease of use makes it the current front runner in my eyes, but yeah it really needs a desktop site.
As some guy on twit supposedly said:I just want to see Elon lose a lot of money. The end goal should always be this. Unfortunately the US government funds this guy, basically.
banned in Europe, and then Apple and Google kicking Twitter off their app stores would probably be the final nail in the coffin lmao.First Elon thought he could topple Apple, now he's gonna take on... *checks* ... literally a continent
THIS IS A BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF A NATIONFirst Elon thought he could topple Apple, now he's gonna take on... *checks* ... literally a continent
Why did I read that in the voice of the announcer for DDR 3rd Mix..?THIS IS A BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF A NATION
if he doesn't take THAT tweet down in the next few hours the EU is going to be all over musks ass
Now where have I seen this playbook before?Things were quiet for a bit, but it’s still melting down nonetheless. Apparently Twitter has stopped paying rent for their buildings and Musk refuses to pay the severance he promised.
I’ve honestly thought about reactivating my account. Not having a Twitter account is actually really pretty annoying if I need to go to the website for any reason.Bummed none of the alternatives have taken off. Hive looked promising, but after the security failures no one returned to it so back to Twitter for now
Yeah they’ve made it increasingly miserable even before Musk took over to view Twitter without an account. At least the “say you’ll login, then hit cancel” trick works if you want to view an accounts most recent tweets without properly being signed in.I’ve honestly thought about reactivating my account. If you have Firefox this helps a lot with thatYeah they’ve made it increasingly miserable even before Musk took over to view Twitter without an account. At least the “say you’ll login, then hit cancel” trick works if you want to view an accounts most recent tweets without properly being signed in.
wait fr?Things were quiet for a bit, but it’s still melting down nonetheless. Apparently Twitter has stopped paying rent for their buildings and Musk refuses to pay the severance he promised.

Not that they're currently in good standing with the EU, but pretty sure this absolutely would violate the GDPR in several ways.
He definitely seems to be inviting it thoughKarma can't come soon enough for Elon :d
I don't have the link on hand but I already saw an article talking about how some of the bigger board members were asking for his removal as CEO so depending on your threshold for what counts as "revolt" you might have to wait a negative amount of time Love to hear good news sometimesHe definitely seems to be inviting it though
Elon Musk offloads another $3.6 billion of Tesla stock
Tesla’s share price is down 61% since start of 2022, trailing rivals Ford and GM.arstechnica.com
Kinda wondering how much longer before TSLA shareholders revolt at this point.
would be even better if he loses ownership of Twitter as a whole :dI don't have the link on hand but I already saw an article talking about how some of the bigger board members were asking for his removal as CEO so depending on your threshold for what counts as "revolt" you might have to wait a negative amount of time Love to hear good news sometimes

Oh sorry, I should've clarified, I was referring to the Tesla CEO position. Given that Twitter's a private company now, the Twitter ownership is probably going to stay his, short of him either abandoning ship and offloading it to someone, or like... losing it in a lawsuit or something. Either way though I hope he feels like shit <3would be even better if he loses ownership of Twitter as a whole :d
eh, I don't think Twitter being a private company would make him immune to losing the company.Oh sorry, I should've clarified, I was referring to the Tesla CEO position. I think I saw the same one yesterday, though I'm having a hard time finding it again now. They said the Tesla board could be in violation of fiduciary duty if something isn't done about Musk.I don't have the link on hand but I already saw an article talking about how some of the bigger board members were asking for his removal as CEO so depending on your threshold for what counts as "revolt" you might have to wait a negative amount of time Love to hear good news sometimes
This feels like it's going to tip the scales of getting Twitter removed from both the Apple and Google ap store.
This a good headline/summary. Even applies to the news after it.
