so are poorly balanced jrpgs amiritey'know if you think about it Pikmin is itself a farming game
Nah no February Direct this year, Drake conference in late January.I know it's a meme but if nothing else this Direct means that the February Direct will be fucking insane
with the difference of forming an invasion army at the end of each day.y'know if you think about it Pikmin is itself a farming game
he was in Nintendos basement, shackled against the wall, because Furukawa was afraid of Aonuma delaying Zelda again in the last secondAll good and well but where was Aonuma?
trapped in your avatar ;(All good and well but where was Aonuma?
not with Fire Emblem coming out imoNah no February Direct this year, Drake conference in late January.
Here's the thing: most of us don't.That being said, I mostly wish that we as a community would stop taking rumors as gospel.
Getting a practice haircut. He's going to need to look pretty slick to announce a delay in the February Direct. All good and well but where was Aonuma?
Oh shit right that's late January.... hmmm maybe February conference after all...not with Fire Emblem coming out imo
Told y'all he didn’t like how people were talking about his haircut. All good and well but where was Aonuma?
I'd be prepared for that simply because there's April, June, July and probably September that'll have games announced in February. Maybe even The Christmas Title gets a first glimpse....y'know this is a fair point
it could very well disappear for a while like splatoon 3 and zelda did
FE is the 20th and Nintendo have been doing presentations in the immediate aftermath of their games; perhaps not for hardware.not with Fire Emblem coming out imo
Marketing contract I'm sure.Another nitpick I had
Why was a trailer for Fall Guys Season 2 included?
Yet another example of odd pacing / inclusions that made these feel more like ad reels (which yes ofc they ultimately are) and less like celebrations for fans
The Direct is a marketing tool first and foremost, at least nowadays. It used to be a space for Nintendo to keep fans engaged during the WiiU drought days, and now it is a space to advertise the upcoming lineup of the Switch, which makes sense when you consider how many releases the Switch hasAnother nitpick I had

So if other major software gets announced for Switch ahead of Drake or Drake not getting released till holidays or later then that is late stage or the focus is elsewhere?Metroid, Zelda, and F-Zero re-releases? No.
If the next thing comes out next year, 2022 will have been late-stage.
If the Drake is coming with BOTW2, it'll be announced in January or February.Maybe Switch Drake showcase in March to close out the FY and set up the next one with launch coming alongside the new Zelda
Yeah idk how amazing the February direct will be. Just whatever direct or presentation has Drake in it will be amazing. It will be January 2017 Part 2
it is a game i would play elsewhere if you have the means. I dont personally think sifu should be played at the likely 30 fps the switch will play it at.Tell me about SIFU please? Is it a good game? I love martial arts.
The live footage of when was Miyamoto asking Furukawa if he can talk about Pikmin Bloom in the Direct
Yeah. I wouldn't read into that. Not sure if this was already mentioned in this thread, but did anyone else find it odd that quite a few games in this direct have Feb 24, 2023 as a release date? Have we ever had multiple releases on the same date before?
I noticed 2/24/23 and 10/28/22 being particularly crowded for apparently no reason! Kirby and Octopath II release on the same date, then Bayonetta 3 and some other game that was shown. I never buy multiple games on the same day.Not sure if this was already mentioned in this thread, but did anyone else find it odd that quite a few games in this direct have Feb 24, 2023 as a release date? Yeah, it's definitely happened in the past. I think the day Monster Hunter Rise launched was another one of these situationsNot sure if this was already mentioned in this thread, but did anyone else find it odd that quite a few games in this direct have Feb 24, 2023 as a release date?
