How many bonus catalog points can you get per day? I heard it was 7500 from turf war wins and 5000 from Salmon Run but I didn't get anything when I won a match of Salmon Run.

I really enjoyed splatoon 2 when it came out but I fell off in part because I was never free when splatfests were running. It made me feel like I was missing out. Now I am even less sure if I will be able to catch splatfests but I kinda wanna buy splatoon 3 anyways.

You can contribute to a splatfest team of your choice a few days before the splatfest now! I know it doesn't fix everything, but it might help the feeling of missing out a little bit

It’s not my micro SD card. I have space on it. The problem is there is no room on the internal space and I’ve already transferred all games off the internal space. The only thing on the internal space is save data and I don’t want to lose any of my save data.

Edit: To be clear I was able to install by removing a couple of small game files, but now I’m back to zero space on my internal memory so any new games wont let me install as there wont be enough space to save the game save to internal storage.

If I delete the game saves from my Switch do they remain saved in the Cloud Storage and I can redownload at a later time?

They will remain on the cloud unless you specifically delete them from the cloud, yeah. That said, remember deleting a game doesn't delete its save. Look if you have leftover save data from demos or games you no longer have interest on there first.
 
My god, why did they think it was a good idea to

It’s only save data on the internal memory. Yes, I have a huge collection of Switch games (over 225 Physical).

Thanks for confirming. Sounds like I will be good to delete a few save files, tho I still want to be careful.

ah, that's a shame

I quite like Bowser's Fury but it being so level is a bit awkward. I suppose it was needed for the mega platforming but I agree that it's uninteresting

On the note of disconnects, my experiences are mimicking the demo pretty well - mostly good, and a bit better compared to my partner, despite being on the same wifi. The major difference is that I have an OLED while they have a launch Switch. I hear the OLED has a better wifi antenna? Could also just be down to pure luck. I don't think things have been any worse than Splatoon 2 at any rate.

I've always appreciated the pickup and play aspect of Splatoon MP. The matches are 3 minutes, always. No shorter, no longer. Play a couple of matches, set it down for a bit, come back later, do it again.
 
I've had more disconnects in Famiboards today than in Splatoon 3.

Which is a weird oddity, but it's funny lol

More than 7 years later, there's still nothing quite like Splatoon.
From the ridiculously satisfying movement mechanics to the sheer cathartic fun of making a colourful mess, it has a feel and texture all its own.

This time around I'm especially enjoying the more fleshed out campaign hub in Alterna, the new zipcaster special feels amazing, and Smallfry is an adorable little scamp.
 
Just took a look at the catalogue rewards on the NSO app. The level 60 reward is gorgeous. A definite goal for me for sure.
 
Kinda need an explanation on how Nintendo managed to make this game have a lot more online lag than S2

Update - going into Sunday and I still don’t have my code. Best Buy is not even mentioning any sort of issue happening. It’s been radio silence from them.

No Deep Cut Amiibo yet. But I will be eagerly awaiting them.

Ive seen the Callie and Marie Amiibo rereleased, but not Pearl and Marina.
 
Finally got a quick match in, but spent most of my time playing around with the weapons and map recon. Really digging Hagglefish Market, but I gotta play it in Turf War before I can really get a feel for it.

Also, maybe I’m just going crazy, but Makomart feels different. Probably just because they removed the walls around spawn, but maybe I’m just dumb and they did change something.

Keep playing, you'll get the hang of it. Rotate stuff, and shoot for the center as early as possible. Every turn I'm considering "How can I work towards a special while taking up as much space as I can?"

I need people to play with once online matchmaking goes live!
 
C- rank has a massive carry problem - One former S rank player is enough to dominate the match lol. I imagine in a few weeks the matchmaking won't be so wonky.

When I first started I didn’t realize I could use specials, so after getting to the center and then running out of space and I just kept passing. And then after realizing I could use specials I was hanging back and making blocks to build the specials, but the couldn’t penetrate the enemy territory. Got to find that balance
 
Even Ado, a very popular singer, who has recently collabed with One Piece Red film, has become addicted to Splatoon 3. I hope this interests her fans and thus helps make the franchise grow even bigger.
 
I just did my first dozen games of Salmon Run. Ahhh the memories are coming back to me....of people not using their specials at all. The Splatoon addiction is real right now. I'm getting wiped in Ranked battles, chill out with some Turf War, not feeling competitive, do a couple hours of Salmon Run, then usually end the night with Tableturf Battle. Bring back the Splatoon 1 mini-games (there are arcade cabinets in the lobby, soooo) and add a bunch of new ones and I won't need to touch another Switch game in my library.

...Well then. That answers whether or not the Capsule Machine can be worth it.
