Playing Pokémon stadium 2 again and honestly can’t believe how much more dynamic/engaging the battles in this are than I remember. The intro animations, how some react to attacks etc.

I'm reading up and it looks like when a game "goes gold" that means the final, locked version of the software has been completed and thus printing can begin, not necessarily that printing has begun.

FWIW the current discourse seems to be centered around a post-game-ish spoiler pic that has barely any connection to the main game. We’re still not entirely sure what it shows but interpretations range from
"it’s the straights at it again" at best to "wtf wtf WTF" at worst.

The main game seems to be relatively free from the nonsense that dragged down XC2 at least.

You know you are fucked when you wake up with the biggest fucking headache in months, decide to "work" from home for the day, and somewhere up the street some absolutely lovely person starts to use his fucking jackhammer for whatever reason.

I don’t know what I was expecting would happen after beating the seven stories in LiveALive, but it wasn’t that. Huh. I absolutely have to stop and go to bed, but damn, this game is so interesting. I don’t think I love it exactly, but it’s such a unique curiosity of a game that really just swung for the fences nonstop.
 
Anyone here play Pokemon Unite or did in the past? I had been meaning to log in for the anniversary event to get Glaceon and finally did tonight. I played with randos and won two games as MVP and barely lost the other one. Happy to say I still got it. Fun game still, hasn’t really changed much in unranked at least since I last played back around Christmas. The menus became even more intense however.
 
Wish I had more time to play Pocket Card Jockey and Fantasy Life rn. Been a while since I've been so motivated to play but it's also been a while since I've been this busy

I saw them in copenhagen a couple of weeks ago, and the setlist had almost everything I wanted.

Been a fan for so long, and never been able to see them until this year.

Amsterdam. It was touch and go for a bit, as Eddie had voice troubles due to their gig last week in Paris; they cancelled Vienna, Prague and the first Amsterdam concert.

It was great. I heard Betterman, Corduroy and Do The Evolution so I’m happy

I’ve been waiting for people to hit this part to see their reactions 😄 Haven’t experienced it myself but I’ve read about it.

I am sad my copy won’t arrive until Thursday.

The internet was a mistake.
I am a One Piece fan and the author introduced a trans character (who is really popular btw). Two in fact. I read the most vile shit the last year or so. In a series thats all about freedom and inclusiveness.....

I’ve never gotten into any power metal besides Dragonforce which is a massive guilty pleasure of mine. I was set to see them live in March 2020, but unfortunately that was when the world ended
 
The heat finally broke here! I can turn off the A/C and open the windows and let in fresh air for the first time in a week!

I can’t play Nintendo games on my internet so I decided to check out fortnite. I’ve completed the battle pass for fall guys so why not?

Same. I've got XC Wii, XCX, XC2, and Torna sitting on the shelf and plans to get XCDE for Future Connected if I can get myself to stick with XC1 for more than 5 hours (otherwise I'm offloading the whole lot).

Maybe once I get through Live A Live with a break for Splat 3 in September.
 
Random thought: Nintendo buying the Wizardry IP would be so awesome!

no such luck here, temps headed up, even with my portable unit I couldn’t get to 70 last night and I had to kick on the window unit because it’s 70 outside already. It hit 101 yesterday and they say it’ll be 95 today but it’s starting hotter and I don’t think there’ll be as much cloud cover as they think. I also lose the portable unit before noon because that side of the house gets hot enough to counteract any benefit leaving it on instead of shuttering the window gives

I went digital on xbc3. Couldn’t afford the special edition right now and shipping is a mess and with how much time I put in the last 2 I figured it was worth it.

Now to see how far through Digimon cyberslueth I can get before it, I’m on chapter 13. May take a break to finally go back to FEWTH today

Anybody else see that Nier Automata secret room discovery yet? I saw the thread on Era and they're all fighting about if it's a mod or not. Nobody else has ever found that room and nobody knows how to access it. Some random user just posted a video of them walking into the room casually and exploded the fanbase lol

Saw a thread on r/games and thought it was absolutely fascinating. I'm looking forward to learning what this is all about ultimately.
