Interesting, I feel like Season 3 was the worst overall. Not bad at all, mind you, I think they're all pretty high quality. It was just the one that didn't work quite as well for me

Amazon was like, "Hey, you ordered Pocky and Rocky Re-shrined, but we accidentally didn't have it on the day we were supposed to. Do you still want it?" That was nice. The only issue was that if I had missed the email, they would have canceled it outright. Let me opt-out, not opt-in, if I've already ordered.

It arrived today, too. Excited to play it.

I'd personally flip fall and winter, but otherwise this is spot on. Can we just like... time warp until the end of July, and move right into August? We can stop on July 29th for Xenoblade 3, that's a special occasion.

I'm very much a cold lover and I also just love the solace and silence of a snowy night. Plus the way light reflects and etc... Gorgeous.

The solemnity of Scaryween autumn death and full harvest moons is very much a close second though. 🎃

Absolutely! The nice thing about Fall, too, is that you know Winter is right around the corner, so it's just more goodness coming up. That's what sours me a little on Spring, especially late Spring: You know that Summer (ugh) is coming soon. It's kind of like when you have a three-day-weekend and get to the last evening of it; sure you're still technically on your weekend, but you know in the back of your mind that you have to try to get to bed earlier and go to work in the morning.

Nothing better than bundling up under the blankets at night during the Fall/Winter. Makes falling asleep so much easier.

I’ll be getting a website together for fun sometime soon — I’ll let you know when that exists! And I’m hoping to drop a demo by the end of the year… if I can manage!

Good to hear. Season 2 was boring as hell and 3 had WAY too many “just in time” moments for me to take it seriously. Might check it out with my sister, who’s been begging me to watch it with her.

If you like action games in which you press a button and then have to wait 10 minutes for the action to be completed, you’ll like it.

Joke aside, I think it’s a bit of an acquired taste. If you have friends to play with, you’ll probably like it, if you’re playing solo… download the demo and see for yourself. It’s a complicated and divisive game, not for everyone.

Does anyone know how the phrase "Have a nice rest of your day" started/spread? I get what it means so like, communication success I suppose, but it still hurts my brain every single time I hear it.

I also went with Sunbreak. Love being able to swap skill sets on the fly. Gonna get some Three Hopes in this weekend.
 
Ngl FEW Three Hopes has made me start loving Musous! I used to not particularly care about said game genre, but this game does it so well!

It feels like you're actually taking part in those battles.
And the fact it literally plays like a normal FE3H game aside from that, makes me love it even more!

What's AmeriFami doing with their long weekend?

As a Brit interloper, I'll be catching the fireworks on Monday evening and celebrating your overthrow of us. The rest of the weekend is given over to errands, watching sports, Stranger Things, and gaming. A trip to a small local theatre tonight, too.

Gonna have a nice little coastal excursion down in Oregon with the girlfriend. Hopefully see Thor's Well and the Sea Lion Caves. She's been really stressed with work so I wanted to plan something adventurous to get us out of our usual lazy routine, haha.

I spent a month in Birmingham and your pubs are far, far superior to our bars - wouldn't mind if the UK came and at least took those back over. 🍻
 
Went camping on the 26th, so missed everything around the Partner Showcase except for the announcements themselves. Was initially very disappointed when the showcase was announced, but the actual contents were pretty great! Looking forward to buying Persona 5 Royal for the second and third time in October, buying the Battle Network Collection, Live a Live seems fantastic, and looking at both Harvestella and Dragon Quest Treasures. Already got Sunbreak, just having to update very... very slowly with my internet haha.

I feel that June was a good month for gaming news.

I enjoyed it. Not sure about everyone else, but I enjoyed it.

I always end every TPIR watch-along on the Golden-Road.net server with "have a golden rest of your day folks!".
