That's going into the Nintendo Direct memes folder

My expectations for tomorrow's 25 minute Partners Showcase

--Bayonetta 3 - trailer + release date
--Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope - trailer + release date
--P3R5ON4 - Announcement trailer
--Sonic Frontier - Switch gameplay trailer
--Hollow Knight Silksong - Trailer + Seasonal Release Date
--MH Sunbreak - Trailer
-- Cuphead - Delicious Last Course Trailer
--Then some 'out-of-nowhere- (my dream) announcements like a Megaman Legends Collection, Sonic Adventure Collection, Ace Attorney, Professor Layton Collection, things like that.
Feels like this is setting expectations a bit high but then again a lot of this stuff is all but confirmed (Monster Hunter, Persona, M+R, Sonic)

Is there any new rumor/hint that says P3R5SON4 will be in the Mini tomorrow? Why should we except all this effort from ATLUS?

One thing I'd love from Sunbreak is finally getting some Nintendo crossover content with Zelda-boss-monsters... but that ain't gonna happen because Capcom will want to focus on creating content that can launch on Switch and PC.

I am glad Nate warned us before. I'm not that disappointed now. Nintendo will show us stuff when there ready, and I really think there's going to be the usual September direct and some twitter announcements throughout the summer.

I love GVG, and I've been listening to Derrick for years, but why the heck did he show up to their Partner Showcase predictions saying the Mario Kart DLC could be here?! Are we all just that desperate to finally get more courses? (I know I am)
What if its a mini plus a partner showcase. Would explain the weird length.

Funny listening to Nate and MVG talking about how much Square Enix could potentially show, because I've been having the same thought. Should do a separate Square Enix Partner Showcase.

Even and as a Switch-only user this whole thing is a bit deflating. Im more interested in 1st party and indies and I've gotten all of my dream ports I can think of (iD games, Borderlands Collection, No Man's Sky, Cuphead etc).

However, being 25 minutes long means there just has to be atleast one thing that excites me. So I'll be hopeful and optimistic that I'll have one new game to look forward to after tomorrow.

Like I said over the weekend, I don't buy that Nintendo just isn't going to have a first party Direct/stream this summer, so the only reason to do a Partner Showcase is because the first party stream will somehow be weird in a way that doesn't leave room for as many third party games. Weird how exactly? Well it does seem pretty likely Nintendo could reveal new hardware soon.

I've gotten my hopes unreasonably high for a new Asano game reveal and am now going to be inevitably disappointed when it doesn't happen

First Party output is near perfection. The big things missing for me are Metroid Prime Trilogie and a new F- Zero. I really want them on Switch. Also give me Advance Wars, Galaxy 2 and TP/ WW as Bonus.

Third Partie wise i wish for Halo/ Mass Effect/ Batman Arkham Trilogy. But i take everything else like Persona 5 Royal as a bonus for sure.

I dont know if i really want the Nier Games. Maybe if they surprisingly announce NI3R for Switch. And if we are already at dreaming, Kingdom Hearts: Legend of the seven Stars ( or however you would name a Nintendo Spinoff).

Yeah I think for me to make it near perfect

First party
F-Zero (either GX remaster or a new game)
Eternal Darkness remake
Paper Mario TTYD and Super
Kid Icarus Uprising HD
Wario Shake It HD
Metroid Prime Trilogy HD
Punch out (either HD of the Wii game or a new one)

Third party
Batman trilogy
Mass Effect trilogy
Tomb Raider reboot trilogy

I've been saying this from the start. This is a Square themed Direct in disguise. I'm actually not convinced that they'll show anything from anyone else.

Look at all the potential stuff:
Final Fantasy IX remake
Nier Automata (or even Nier Replicant too?)
Final Fantasy Pixel remasters
Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster
Tactics Ogre reborn
Dragon Quest 3 2DHD
Dragon Quest Treasures
New SaGa game
New Mana game

And they could have a "reminder" of:
Crisis Core Final Fantasy 7
Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song
Diofield Chronicle

Multiple Vanillaware ports + new game trailer and I could declare the direct a success.
It'd probably be difficult for Vanillaware to do multiple ports right now, unless work on their new game is on pause. They're probably just finishing up GrimGrimoire and had 13 Sentinels earlier this year. Hopefully we can get something though.

Nate talking about giving Astral Chain to Monolith Soft is wild.

Hmm... you know, this is really interesting when that interview with Hiroshi Ando about him wanting to do an action game at Monolith recently got dug up.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about AC's sequel not being done by Platinum, but still.... highly interesting speculation by Nate there.

A Bayo 3 delay doesn’t seem plausible to me, you don’t go out of your way as a developer to say “we’re in the final stages of development”, give a release window and then delay the game a year later

I wonder if there's the possibility of co-development between Monolith Soft and Platinum, with Kaori Ando at EPD staying on in a directing capacity.

Probably would have helped if they had jumped on the train earlier instead of waiting till kingdom for their Switch releases.

I've seen it mentioned several times today on this site but where are the rumors of a July first party games only direct coming from? Anything from someone reliable or is it just wishful thinking?

I'm actually more interested in your emotional state/reaction tomorrow than in watching the Direct itself.
Whatever happens, it'll be interesting to observe. 😜
Thing is, it seems Persona 3 and 4 is 100% coming to Switch but for some reason no one knows anything about Persona 5 and I'm just preparing myself to be disappointed again once we find out it's skipping the platform lol.

I’ve been wanting stuff like Ganon and Ridley as Monster Hunter battles for the longest time. Unfortunately, I think these type of crossovers with MH are a thing of the past now.
