I'm a bit confused atm, because a few insiders have said that they are not made aware of the branding of a direct, but now they all seem confident that it is a partner direct. So have they now been made aware of the branding or are all signs just pointing to a partner in their opinions?

That I agree with, even though I wouldn't have minded another more difficult arena circuit or maybe a bonus mode.

Kirby Star Allies had multiple updates and KFL set-ups for additional content to be added I would be surprised if there wasn't some extra DLC even if not as big as KSA's

Only Nate said it was gonna be a partner, none of the others have came out and said what it’s going to be

He actually said last night it could change doesn’t meant it will so take that as you will. In my opinion no one truly knows the branding.

Wouldn’t it be kind of a shitty movie for Nintendo to do a Partner Direct just because of marketing obligations? If I’m a third party developer and I worked it out with Nintendo to have my game featured in a Direct, I’d be pissed if it ended up being a Partner event and Nintendo said “well technically we did call it a Direct and released it in June!” I have to imagine that part of the reason that third parties want to be part of Directs is because the first party announcements bring a ton of eyeballs to the presentation, and the Partner events just aren’t as well received or viewed. To me that’s the sort of thing that ends up souring a relationship between two companies, you know?

Odyssey has a better soundtrack than Galaxy.

Good thing nobody would do such a thing so close to a Direct. We are all all complete sane, well-rounded individuals who would never flame the fire at such a delicate moment.

There’s certainly room to expand Forgotten Land but is there any indication that they will?

Everyone needs to chill and have a shoey and celebrate the future announcement of the Goemon collection with all games including the japan only games translated.

What's the next Smash/BoTW2 after 2023?
That announcement people in chat won't shut up about until it happens. And then when it happens they complain that it didn't check some box pulled from the skies of the pearly gates.

As someone not big into Pokemon, it’s a little concerning if this indeed is a Partner Direct. Outside of Splatoon 3 campaign (which is a complete unknown), not much I’m super excited about. Metroid Prime still seems likely and would help, but something from EPD 8 (like a new 2D Donkey Kong) is what I was truly hoping for.

I feel like Bayo 3 will show up in the Direct, It’s been put at the top of the My Nintendo Store for the first time ever, 2 weeks ago? That has to mean something

OK, that's all the time I've got. Now, I've got to get back to playing Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes on my Nintendo Switch.
 
I predict a BotW 1 and 2 double pack for the next console launch after the Switch because there sure as hell won't be a new Zelda ready.

Guys I don't understand.
I saw that Nate said that it will be a Partner Showcase but... is it a speculation or has he received infos that says EXACTLY that?
Because the other leak that I had read online was that the direct was "mainly about 3rd parties". And that doesn't means that it has to be a Partner imho, but only that, maybe, there will only be 1-2 Nintendo first parties in it. It could still be a general or a normal mini tho.

Can someone enlight me?
