Remind me not to go to a big open field with no shade with two small children when it's 90+ degrees and not cloudy at all, thanks.

Does the Donkey Kong Adventure DLC in Mario & Rabbids come with a tutorial to get you used to the controls again? Thinking of playing it before the sequel but not played M&R since 2017.

no problem lol. We are on a games forum and I can't blame anybody for getting invested into something we all love. even tho we don't actually play games.

My personal dream scenario for BotW 2 would be: 8 big story dungeons and 4 really hard optional dungeons that really test you sprinkled with mini dungeons and other cool secrets.

I really wanna sink my teeth into optional challenges that don't hinder my progress in the game. I loved the Trials of the Sword for this. Probably one of the best designed challenges I played in my time as a gamer.
Yes to all this

Miyamoto told us “do not do that” but we kept doing it anyway and now we're paying the price

Sadly i cant despise you, but since you re sonic many people do that for me already

Yeah I think I'm mostly going to just hang in this thread, nothing of any real note is going to happen before Monday morning anyway, and this thread is way more chill

I took 3 coding based courses for eng and I haven't done nearly enough debugging to appreciate programmer humor. How did the racoon get in this ad though? lol
it was mostly for the raccoon :p but I do know enough programming (more like scripting, thanks Civ IV) to get the others

I've never played the first one. It's on sale so I'm getting it next Friday
I just picked up the first one. Only grab so far from the current sale. Tho will probably grab SW Kotor for nostaglia sakes(but I’m waiting to make sure the direct(if it appears) doesn’t have any shadow drops)

Apparently they are (somehow????) not going to spoil anything that happens in the first game in this one, or at least main plot stuff. Nirvana Initiative has a little 'test quiz' where you answer questions about the first game, and if you get them right you can choose to let the game spoil the first one for you, but if not then it won't.

I have no idea how well that will work, and I also doubt that all that many people will pick this game that haven't played the first one, but it's still a cool idea and feature.

Barely got an hour into Three Hopes today. Too much illness striking, but had a good videochat with friends at home.

Not really feeling Warriors gameplay tonight so maybe a little more Mass Effect 2.

It’s been decades but I still find the Sonic & Knuckles cart’s lock-on feature pretty darn cool

Love the interactions in Mass Effect 2. The conversation with Samara, post loyalty mission, hit really hard today for some reason or other. But it's also good to see your frame of mind articulated in something you love, I guess.

Still remains one of my all time favorite games

Valheim is down to 11 Euros on Steam. Really dabeting with myself if I should buy it....

It looks interesting but something I am kinda wary of is the crafting.....
Looks really grindy.

1 Dollar?

I think I’ve seen videos from that channel before and what they did was say oh so if you buy a 12 eggs for 4 bucks and you only use one in the recipe then there’s .33 cents, buy a 6 pack of avocados for $6 and use 1/10th of one and that’s .10 or whatever…and I’m like dude.. that isn’t how buying groceries works. I can’t go to the store and buy .15 cents worth of rice

Reminds me of all the "WE BUILT A $200 CONSOLE-KILLER PC!!!!" videos. Where they have half the components already (because who doesn't have a PSU and motherboard just sitting around?), buy the other half used for extremely cheap, and ignore stuff like decent drive space, an OS, or any accessories. Then they benchmark it on games designed to run on low-specced 2013 Jaguar CPUs.
