Mario + Rabbids Direct is a best joke in last few days. If some of you think that tweet it's serious just big IMAO
I don't even know how you interpreted that I think it was true.

EDIT: rereading my post you could interprete it that way lol. sorry. english isnt my first language

This place can get pretty negative. We were told the mini Partner direct is the 28th and Mario + Rabbids will probably get a trailer there. Then on the 29th Mario + Rabbids is getting more gameplay shown (probably an in-depth video presentation).

It was a harmless tweet then next thing it’s “oh now the direct is just a Mario + Rabbids direct!”

I’ll tone this down lol.

So what if the next weeks/months are
Mario Rabbids / Partners Direct
Splatoon 3 Direct
Mario Movie Direct / Trailer
Metroid Direct
Fire Emblem Direct
September Direct (General / Mini / Partner)
Zelda Direct

Lol.

May I just have BotW2's title at this point? All I want.

At this point we will get the title as a part of the first DLC wave

Damn this place is so negative. We were told the fling mini Partner direct is the 28th and Mario + Rabbids will probably get a trailer there. Then on the 29th Mario + Rabbids is getting more gameplay shown (probably an in-depth video presentation).

Oh wait, so are we expecting the Mini on Tuesday then? I was going to swap my office days so I was in that day instead of Weds but if it’s on Tuesday I’ll stay as I am

I think I've said this before, but it would be amazing to see the next Direct being a Mini Partner Direct and it's already not at the usual time of the month. All of this despite people here being so sure and confident that there will be a "E3" style Direct at the usual time (early/mid June) because that's what they always do.

And many posters were also leaning towards being rude and snarky towards anyone being sceptical of that happening. And look at us now. I'm not going to dig through people's post history though, but man, people need to change their attitudes.

To stay on topic: Whatever we get or don't get, we already have a stacked summer period. Nintendo never needed to do a Direct around this time. They may use this chance to focus on giving a marketing push towards the games that are set to release these coming months, since they have quite the publishing duties: Fire Emblem TH, Live A Live, Splatoon, among others.

I think it would be a good idea to have "real" general Direct in September, when most of these games have released so they can focus their attention on new stuff.

In the end, no one will be able to predict what Nintendo does. You'd think we've already learned this, but Nintendo patterns don't mean a thing.

For real. It's getting a bit too toxic here, and nothing has even happened yet.

That’s what Nate said. The partner direct is on June 28. Tom Henderson heard about gameplay for Mario + Rabbids and that’s supposed to be on June 29.

Of course, nothing is confirmed until stuff is officially announced, but for those who missed it, Nate said there were two separate events, a direct type thing, and a Mario and Rabbids focused thing the day after, but M + R 2 would be at both.

Too many of you are writing off the a Mario + Rabbids 2 Direct as a bad thing, which is the most disappointing thing about this

Then again it does seem like June's Directs are catering to specifically me so maybe I shouldn't be talking.

It’ll be a full general Nintendo Direct featuring a mix of first party and third party games

It’ll be a Nintendo Direct Mini featuring mostly first party games

It’ll be a Partners Showcase for third party games only

It’ll be a M+R 2 Direct

It’s a tweet

It’s because it’s Ubisoft. You know all the stuff going on with their company so many people don’t even want to talk about them.

I am just personally not into the franchise. Really tried to like the first one. Would be of course happy for the folks being hyped about it.

They have too many games announced already, there will be nothing

So, are we expecting a Treehouse? haha, good times. Seriously tho, Treehouse with games featured after Partner would be good, more gameplay of Splatoon 3 and more.

Nate I know we will know in a couple days but is Mario Rabbids August or October :)
Definitely October, as it's actually a psychological body horror game about the Mario cast slowly and painfully metamorphosizing into Rabbids and coming to terms with their new, obnoxious existence.

I've let the Partner thought marinate for a bit, and I'm actually kinda pumped now! :D Persona games (Please also Royal Atlus, pls), Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope!! There's going to be a lot of good stuff there. I've still yet to continue playing Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle but what I've played so far I really liked! After that it's just waiting until Live A Live and Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and I'm good until September!

I still have about 4 chapters of XC Definitive Edition left, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 entirely and also Torna entirely so god help me :ROFLMAO:

And, yet Sony, for example, had a gag clause handed down from their CEO Jim Ryan forbidding talk about abortion when the repeal was leaked. Even going as far as take 3 whole paragraphs to talk about his dog. The fact that every single one of these reports has “broken silence” or an alternative to that says it all. Even Bungie spat in the face of that order. We saw what happened with ABK releasing their statement during the BLM protests. I just don’t trust companies words & want to see long proactive major actions from them instead of finding out a week later they are busting unions.
Nah

I ain't even gonna reply to the rest of your post because this, this is nonsense. I ain't gonna sugercoat my reply either, because we're talking about human rights here - not Nintendo Directs or Treehouses.

Bringing up Jim Ryan's fuck-up is cowardly whataboutism to deflect from the legitimate fact that nobody with a significant affiliation with Nintendo has said a single goddamn thing about the loss of abortion rights in America. Nintendo, Retro, Next Level Games, Doug Bowser, Bill Trinen, Charles Martinet. No-One.

That, to me, says a lot more about Nintendo as an entity than an out-of-touch boomer fuck failing to enact a gag order says about Playstation as an entity. But, since Jim Ryan got caught trying to enact said gag order, Sony as a whole get the flack whilst Nintendo gets... nothing. It doesn't matter that practically all of Sony's major American affiliates have stepped up, they get to be the subjects of whataboutism because their leader simply wasn't as efficient with enacting gag orders.

I mean, you tried to refute my point that Nintendo was becoming too focused on soulless corporate efficiency and you inadvertently proved that point 100% correct. I guess that's something.

You guys believe one person too easily I doubt Nate received exclusive info from his source saying partner when others have no idea what kind of direct it is

I fully agree with your post, just want to point out that Next Level Games is based in Canada.

I think october and will be the other big holiday release along Pokemon like Metroid Dread / Pokemon BDSP last year and Luigi's Mansion 3 / SWSH in 2019

Hopefully it's on the lengthier side, like the March 2020 Mini. 25 to 30 minutes is plenty of time to show a variety of games. I'm not expecting that much, currently, but it doesn't need to be a bad showing.

And, like 2020, yeah I'm agreed it would still be more effective to just go ahead and have a 45 minute showing here with the first party news. Something else is going on, for whatever reason.

Yeah, if it's a Mini/Partner I expect something on the lower side, around 15 to 20 at the very most. I guess it will depend on what else they show in the next few weeks after that.

Sounds like a Direct I'm not interested in. I'll catch the highlights on Twitter and then move on. Not enough years waiting for Zelda yet I guess.

Ubisoft is so full of skilled people, id love if nintendo got in more partnerships with them. It just sucks their management is trash.
It's time for Soliani and his team to be poached by Nintendo. They do turn based really well, maybe Nintendo gives them Advance Wars.

Also, Toronto and Quebec. Very Nintendo-esque studios.

I look at this and ask “why can’t we even get a Mini Direct with some first party announcements?” Even if they’re small like WWHD, Style Savvy, MPHD you could do a Mini. I’m not complaining about H2, but this isn’t the complete half 2 lineup.

That’s why it leads to wondering what else is going on here. Something else Nintendo has going on? A Mini with all the third party announcements plus a handful of Nintendo announcements could’ve been done I’d like to imagine.
