Good morning Fami. I had a dream and Direct has been announced. Then it aired but it wasn't a normal Direct, it was just Miyamoto with his Macbook reading Famiboards and laughing like a devil.

I'd certainly say having more functions means more functional. The fact i can adjust the size of the little blocks already puts it above the switch menu.

I think any dictionary would disagree with your definition:

What you describe is the perfect example of a feature that is more "attractive" than "practical and useful". Same with the themes, stickers, folders etc. Which are, again, nice to have in general and can be useful when you don't have that many games but their primary benefit is aesthetic rather than utlitiarian. The 3DS is simply lacking essential features that have become an industry standard on pretty much every other device or platform like Steam. Not to say that the Switch menu can't be improved or anything. Having quick access to groups from the home screen would be nice, or maybe the option to pin games, text search etc. But it's absolutely an improvement over the 3DS in terms of functionality.

Here's mine!

1) Deus Ex
2) Mass Effect
3) NieR Replicant
4) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
5) NieR Automata
6) The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
7) Dragon Age: Origins
8) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
9) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
10) Fallout New Vegas

Sorry I know I am on a Nintendo forum but after all the hate that Skyward Sword got I am just really happy to see all the BotW mentions... not for me but for the Zelda team.

You can just feel that its a labour of love
and sweat even tho it may not be for everyone.

What a turnaround for the franchise.

Though originally scheduled for Spring 2023, the release of the latest The Legend of Zelda title is postponed until late 2023 to allow further improvement of quality.

Are we the same person? Lots of coincidence here!

Hey, I think No.7 isn’t that bad from my list. For a while I had it in the top three when I was younger.

Skyward Sword has one of the best stories in Zelda in my opinion. If we go story wise I think it’s probably the second best. After Twilight Princess..

I love Skyward Sword, it's one of my top 5 Zelda games. I'm just going to give my top spot to Majora's Mask because of how replayable it is. MM is also one of my favorite randomizers to run so it gets even more play from me.

I really like it too. Has some of the highest highs in the series. Especially the dungeons. The HD remaster is in my Top 5 best Zelda games.

This is just his prediction/what he expects, he hasn't said anything about him having confirmation of that being the case
Yeah Andy is an absolute news hound, if he actually had any information about this, he’d report on it officially. Loves breaking a story.

I think a partner direct can be fine, if they sort of manage expectations a little, by saying something like “we hope you look forward to this partner direct, we will have another direct to show case new games from our own franchises later this year”. I think there are a few reasons to do this, but the simplest explanation is that maybe most of their new stuff outside of splatoon and xenoblade isnt quite ready to be shown. But idk, Nintendo works in mysterious ways lol

BOTW, Galaxy 1 and Xenoblade 1 are my holy trinity so far... let's see if Xeno 3 manages to surpass 1. It might, considering what i've seen so far

Tune in 6/29 at 2 p.m. PT for the #NintendoDirect Mini: Partner Showcase | June 2022 featuring roughly 30 minutes of information focused mainly on our partner Monolith Soft and its upcoming game The Legend of Zelda: Groose of the Boogaloo.

I hope it’s a partner direct purely to watch the chaos unfold

I’m more hyped for directs than actually playing the games.
50:50. Depends on the shown games of course.
Nothing better then playing a long awaited game for the first time. Like BotW 2 for example.

that’s not what they’re doing normally, teasing other directs without a solid date or something
