When will the next Direct air?

Direct at the end of June make me question it's Quality, why would Nintendo host it so late in the month

The timing mean it's just a month away from Xeno 3, so at least 5 minutes trailer is guaranteed at the Direct

There won't be an August game, Bayonetta 3 will probably be the October game alongside Metroid Prime and that's it for the year

Wich all in all make sense but make for a very underwhelming Direct

Just Twitter drop the Zelda: Wind Waker HD/Twilight Princess HD Switch double pack announcement and I'll forgive there being no Direct. ;)
 
Idk about all of this 15th stuff, but if Nate says it isn’t that date or potentially even next week at all, then I’m more inclined to believe him than these other rumors.

Yeah I don't know. I'm curious to see if the Summer Game Fest confirms dates for those games. I think that will kind of determine for me if the Direct really is on the 15th or not. I know Nintendo has a habit of sometimes revealing events just a day or two before said event but with this being presumably their big summer gaming event, I figured they would want to give at least a week's notice like they did last year but who knows.

IGN has their expo tomorrow, Wholesome Games Saturday and Xbox Sunday. More indies can be announced with an embargo for the 15th at those events as well
 
Ykw everyone, let's just relax, Summer has begun (for the northern hemisphere at least), we're got Mario Strikers releasing imminently, and in less than half an hour, Geoff's gonna DELIVER DIRECTLY TO YOUR LOCAL IMAX CINEMAS (I'd be going but none of my friends are willing to go to the only location hosting it in Ontario):

Wondering when, or if, Nintendo's gonna show up in June is just not fun at all compared to the hype from prior years.
 
not sure why people are acting like something like shredder showing up at sgf means it can't also still be a data point for a direct, it could be at both

like even if some stuff gets dated today why the clustering around the 15th? just shits and giggles?

He then brings out Reggie to announce a direct
on 6/15 focusing on Mother 3 and Neon White. Followed by a 2 hour Treehouse where developers watch Summer Game Mess.

Okay so it’s not a shadow drop then
This could mean that it can be announced tonight at SGF or the 14th during the Nintendo Direct that I’m sure will be that day.

It's not going to be on the 14th, Microsoft wouldn't schedule an event that day if there was a Direct. 15th is the earliest we can see it.
