I don’t blame ya, June is nearly upon us and it’s all I do for the first 14-16 days of every June. Pokémon then Sonic is an awesome start to not-E3 2022, then a State of Play in around 30 hours after sounds good to me.

Well I have to say this is all fairly reasonable, Urban Champion aside.

Here is to Pikmin, may its fourth game actually exist in more than just my dreams!
 
Oh, @Barely Able pinged me days ago about this and I never replied because I'm very rude but yes last I checked no one has reserved the July ST. @Plum said he'd do August, possibly when we thought July was taken, so (unless I've missed someone reserving it in the last few days) I'm gonna give him first right of refusal and otherwise start checking for volunteers in the next couple of days. Sound good?

The only positive way that I can spin it is that Disney/Lucasfilm learned their lesson from that situation, and is trying to do better this time around.

It certainly doesn't excuse all of the bs that Kelly Tran went through. Really sad how that all played out.

Not just anti-racism, but anti-sexism energy was needed. Daisy Ridley closed her socials due to harassment relatively close to the time Kelly Marie Tran did, iirc. They both issued statements, both of which were just sorta left to be forgotten.

And then Rose's screen time being drastically reduced for the third film almost felt like instead of defending her, they instead went "okay, we hear you fans!"

It was so damn gross.

Now General Goddamn Kenobi himself made a video condemning racist fans, saying they aren't fans in his eyes, and the official Star Wars twitter actually posted it. Like night and day.

I’d like to do September’s ST if that’s still open.
 
Finally saw Doctor Strange last night and goddamn that was fantastic. Went in a very different direction than I expected.

Also I bought that PS3 last night too, updating both of them now so I can do a system transfer from one to the other and have a working disk drive again! Time to replay Metal Gear Rising ❤️
 
Wow, a lot of hate for Yu Suzuki on the internet. Dude has made so many great revolutionary games, and yes, including Shenmue which was ambitious and ahead of its time.

Don’t get why people have a problem with him all of a sudden.
