none so far. the earlier leaks said it was hundreds of years howeverHas there ben any indication as to how long it’s been since Xenoblade 1 and 2?
I wonder how Melia has stayed so young. Nia at least has the excuse that Flesh Eater aging seems to be inconsistent.none so far. the earlier leaks said it was hundreds of years however
High Entia age slower than Homs and humans do. Melia is already 88 in XC1.I wonder how Melia has stayed so young. Nia at least has the excuse that Flesh Eater aging seems to be inconsistent.
I know that, but they only live a few hundred years. Depending on how long it’s been you’d think she’d either be dead or really old.High Entia age slower than Homs and humans do. Melia is already 88 in XC1.
I know, all I said is that it’s inconsistent. Jin didn’t age a day in 500 years but Cole became elderly, so Nia has an excuse to be physically however old they want.Nia was literally a teenager in 2. And Flesh Eaters aren’t immortal like Blades. They age but still have long life spans.
Without the masks coming off yet, do we even know that they have stayed so young..?I wonder how Melia has stayed so young. Nia at least has the excuse that Flesh Eater aging seems to be inconsistent.
I always thought the difference was due to being a natural flesh-eater (actually ate the heart of your driver) vs. an artificially created flesh-eater like Indol and Judicium's experiments. Nia was a natural one so it makes sense she would age more like Jin than Cole.I know, all I said is that it’s inconsistent. Cole was an early attempt at flesh eaters. they since gotten better at it and are akin to other long lasting flesh eatersI always thought the difference was due to being a natural flesh-eater (actually ate the heart of your driver) vs. an artificially created flesh-eater like Indol and Judicium's experiments. Yea, I know, I just figured the natural way would still produce the best results.Cole was an early attempt at flesh eaters. they since gotten better at it and are akin to other long lasting flesh eaters
What kind of patronizing comment is this, everybody knows this.that's generally how design works. nothing is ever made in a vacuum
I'm pretty sure it was a specific target at the heart, Jin as the only one to know that, the other flesh eaters were DIYI think the “success” of flesh eaters might have to do with how well driver and blade were in sync. Jin and Lora obviously had an incredible relationship, and Nia definitely loved her sister a lot too.
It's like knowing that very specific part of the back of your neck to make tingle in order to go super saiyan (I hate that that's canon)I'm pretty sure it was a specific target at the heart, Jin as the only one to know that, the other flesh eaters were DIY
As am ISomeone is down bad astronomically for Lanz in the comments
understandable
Gem crafting of some sort is probably in the game too, and probably very similar to this. We see a gem icon under the campsite icon in one of yesterday's tweets, and I think Riku's description in the Japanese relationship chart had a mention of GemsThis reminds me of gem crafting and I'm already lolling
My comment wasn't meant to be patronizingWhat kind of patronizing comment is this, everybody knows this.
I apologizeMy comment wasn't meant to be patronizing
People are down BAD in the repliesNever let the meatheads cook
MonolithSoft: Hey dude could you maybe, like, put actual clothes on the characters this time?the drip in this game is insane
I imagine saitom being asked to draw clothes that actually cover the characters and he just shrugs and says, "oookay", in a very "if you say so" kinda wayMonolithSoft: Hey dude could you maybe, like, put actual clothes on the characters this time?
Masatsugu Saito: Oh, yall wanted clothes? Shit yeah I can draw clothes. I'll show yall some clothes.

At this point getting classes beyond the 6 from the main characters is almost a certainty, I only theorized about it before but "yumsmith" is almost certainly a class, compare the gun/shield icon to the icons seen among the pics from that Japanese retailer with the Queens' designs:
Basically the icon of each class is the weapon it uses. It would also seem strange to have class experience and levels if there were only 6 classes that you have available from the beginning.
MonolithSoft: Yeah man, like you remember how Nia's costume actually covered her body? More like that.I imagine saitom being asked to draw clothes that actually cover the characters and he just shrugs and says, "oookay", in a very "if you say so" kinda way
If only Monolith wasn't soft
Well in that case it's time to go back to the theory that every Hero will give us a class I think. At this point getting classes beyond the 6 from the main characters is almost a certainty, I only theorized about it before but "yumsmith" is almost certainly a class, compare the gun/shield icon to the icons seen among the pics from that Japanese retailer with the Queens' designs:

It may build affinity between our party members but I doubt the Heroes will be cooking as well so there must be another way to learn classes from those characters at least.I don't think cooking/gem-crafting is going to work like Xenoblade 1's gem-crafting where each character had some unique function to the process. Rather, I think this is how you build more affinity with certain characters.
Think about it, we know you learn other classes by gaining affinity between two members. In the past games, you primarily built affinity by battling alongside each other but now all six characters fight together so there has to be some other method of building affinity specifically between just two members. So it likely won't matter if Noah's the engineer and Lanz is the shooter, the results of crafting will be the same, you just get more affinity between those two.
I'm wondering how they'll justify getting the Nopon's class since they don't even use Blades. But I guess we don't fully know the lore reasons for why the party is able to switch Blades yet, so maybe it doesn't require thatAt this point getting classes beyond the 6 from the main characters is almost a certainty, I only theorized about it before but "yumsmith" is almost certainly a class, compare the gun/shield icon to the icons seen among the pics from that Japanese retailer with the Queens' designs:

Agreed. For the heroes (personally I prefer the term 7th slotters), you would probably just get affinity from battling with them since you have to pick which one to have in the party like the other games. It may build affinity between our party members but I doubt the Heroes will be cooking as well so there must be another way to learn classes from those characters at least.
I hope they don't bring merc missions back, but if they do hopefully they let them continue when you turn the game off.Agreed. Watch there be something like merc missions you send heroes on.
Also, I really hope the next twitter post is gem-crafting. Love to see some equipment stuff.
I’d rather them not to do that, it could open the possibility to get 24+ hours missions lolI hope they don't bring merc missions back, but if they do hopefully they let them continue when you turn the game off.
