Chances of Ace Attorney 7 or a new Mega Man (or new port collection) getting announced? Or anything Capcom related at all along those lines?

And what about Klonoa or Goemon? Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon 64 on NSO followed by a port collection of the SNES Goemon games would be hype. Curious what that Klonoa trademark was all about too.

That's possible, a bit strange for video staff to be posting unsoliciated promos. I don't recall this before, but maybe we just didn't notice. They are rightfully proud of whatever it coming tomorrow which is my takeaway here, and that is a good sign I think.

A brand new Goemon game. Developed by Good Feel, the original devs of Goemon (former Konami devs). Dream come true.

Maybe do Brief appearance/recognition with name reveal and Brief appearance/recognition without name reveal, if you want to give some more specific options.
 
The closer we get to the Direct, the smaller I think BotW2s presence in it will be.

Right now I'm down to 'brief appearance/recognition'.

Any SquareEnix news would be tops for me, and another look at Splatoon 3 close behind. Looking like I might walk away from this Direct pretty happy!

(That’s not even mentioning the Prime remake/remaster/whatever, a game I have heard rumblings about so many times that I refuse to believe it exists until it’s up on the screen lol)

BOTW2 will be mentioned, but no trailer. They will say that next time it appears they will reveal all + release date. That's my bet.

with how long they've gone without revealing the name, i don't really see them doing a title drop without a trailer.
if the game is gonna be mentioned outside of a trailer, it's either gonna be "we're making it, but here's another zelda game" or "the game is delayed", neither of which goes well with a title reveal.

Yeah I do really wanna see it too, but to keep my expectations in check I don't think it'll be there tomorrow...

As long as I get more Splatoon 3 then I'll be good. Testfire announcement would be icing on the cake!

  • Donkey Kong Country Crocodile Swing is revealed in a trailer , with a tentative release of holiday, 2022. A new Direct will showcase more info.

  • F-Zero SX is a new title in the series, announced in a video , and it will be available Q3, 2022. More info will be given in an upcoming Direct.

  • The Legend of Zelda: Faces for the Old, formely known as Breath of the Wild 2, is slated to appear with an overview trailer , and it will be available fall, 2022. Expect more news after the Direct.

  • Kirby Battles Allies , is a new ambitious title, long in development, first appearing in a long trailer . Release date is not given, tho I have heard it will release July, 10 2022. A new Direct will showcase more info.

  • Starfox VR is supposedly shown in a cinematic teaser . Release date is shown as summer, 2022. More information is coming.

  • Kid Icarus Uprising Deluxe, remake of Kid Icarus Uprising for the 3DS, is a big new title, announced in a surprise trailer , with a tentative release of Nov, 26 2022. No more information is given.

  • Metroid Fusion HD, remake of Metroid Fusion for the GBA, is a big new title, announced in a surprise trailer , and it is given a release date of holiday, 2022. Expect more news after the Direct.

  • Super Mario RPG + Desolation of Wart, remake of Super Mario RPG for the SNES, announced, with few things shown in a long video , with a tentative release of Q2, 2022. Expect more news after the Direct.

  • Microsoft's Xcloud is announced to be coming to Switch.

  • For Honor will finally arrive on Sitch. Will be exclusive to the Switch Pro. To be released 2022

  • Yakuza Kiwami is coming to Switch. In the form of cloud streaming. To be released 2022

  • Marvel's Avengers confirmed for a switch release. It uses a special 64GB cartridge. To be released 2022

  • Wave Race Switch announced, being shown in some gameplay form . Release date is not given, tho I have heard it will release summer, 2022. A Demo will be available on the eshop at the end of the presentation.

My favorite:

Said it before but they could have made millions with the first on switch either before AC or after it.

Could have created millions of new adventure and role playing game fans with its basic easy going nature.
 
After seeing lots of these tweets from NOA employees, are actually Directs done in NOJ? I would say so, they will cut it do all the graphics etc. and then it's send to NOA just for translate or? I obviously believe that NOJ has a final say in this.

  • Yakuza Switch (so Derachi can be fresh)
  • Harada apologizing for Bamco's series missing the Switch and the alliance is broken. Tales of Arise Switch coming

What's your 40 minute nightmare direct? Here's mine

1-2 Switch 2 announced and gets a 5 minute detail segment

BotW 2 delayed till 2023 with no gameplay shown

Mario Party Superstars gets an update that adds more single player minigames, but doesn't add any new boards or characters

Metroid Prime 4 is rerevealed and it's an always online forced multiplayer shooter

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Cloud edition

5 minute segment on the Mario movie, looks worse then the original Sonic movie trailer

Going forward new NES and SNES online games will be expansion pack only

Metroid Dread dlc announced, $20 paid expansion where you play as a Federation Trooper

Splatoon 3 will have no single player campaign, be an always online multiplayer only game, detail new battle royale mode for 5 minutes that's full of p2w microtransactions

New Donkey Kong Country is announced, it uses the NSMB graphics engine, has playable Donkey, Diddy, and 2 different colored Kiddy Kongs.

Pikmin 4 is revealed, it's a 2d side scroller that is clearly inspired by Hey Pikmin.

Hey You Pikachu 2 announced, comes with a new microphone accessory

Mario Karaoke announced, using the Mario Movie cast for the singing, uses the new microphone accessory
 
Zelda is truly an enigma. I feel like tomorrow our only read on its status will hinge entirely on the release dates of the other games.

If games like Fire Emblem release in late summer and Xenoblade has a “winter” release window I think expecting a big Zelda reveal at E3 for a holiday release is still on the table. They can get away with not showing anything tomorrow.

However, if Fire Emblem is a late September/October release, or Xenoblade is dated for November, I think the writing is on the wall for Zelda in 2022.

And there’s of course the insane possibility it gets a big reveal tomorrow with a sure fire release in Fall 2022.

Every game has been its own thing and Takahashi said post-Xenoblade 2 that he gets bored of whatever it was he did last so why would he create a direct sequel 😂. Sounds like bad fanfiction.

IIRC, I read a tweet a year or so ago that someone at NOA had been hard at work with editing the content for a direct for a long time. So, even if Japan decides the 1st party games, editing might be done by other parts of Nintendo.
