My predictions:
It’s my first time, so be gentle…

Kirby and not just Forgotten Land stuff (anniversary bittles, that one article rumor that said there was another Kirby game, plus IGN’s recent article seems too perfectly timed…: maybe a game n watch, Kirby 64 as the N64 game next month, Kirby 99 type game…)

Pac Man Museum + (after direct)
Sonic Origins Collection
Fire Emblem
Mega Man or Castlevania (because I am a dreamer)
Other western crap I don’t care about save Batman Arkham Collection
Silksong Release Date (it’s big enough…)
Tmnt: Sherdder’s Revenge with ‘Splinter is playable!’ trailer because lord forbid we get a release date
Zelda 2d/top down or whatever something because please
Metriod Prime Remake/Collection (I neeeed it!)
Xenoblade? Xenoblade.

I want BotW2, Splatoon 3, and MP4, but I figure those are E3 games/coming out later this year.

My only prediction is 10 minutes of Splatoon 3 with a May/June release date.

All hail team February

I will be changing my avatar to something else after the direct. Craig will live on in future hype trains for directs and games I’m personally excited for

So Pizza/Umbrella Day were the presentation days for the regions. That was the tease I used. The riddle and mystery is answered. It wasn't randomly chosen.
If RE and TMNT do somehow show up you should claim credit for teasing those too.

First post here and what timing! Really hoping for those Pixel Remasters on Switch and Metroid Primer Remake/Remaster for the H1 window.

And Silksong, of course:

I have a theory that something rated "M" or "PEGI16+" or "USK16+" will show up. Bayonetta 3 or something else?

Nintendo hasn’t opened a General Direct with a brand new first party game since February 2019, which was Mario Maker 2. Its been too long. It’s time to open with a new first party game again.

In all seriousness, February Directs have been my faves during the Switch era so expectations are set high. Let's see if they can meet them.

uh, it has Silksong, FE and Zelda?
It only has Fire Emblem as a new first party game. We usually have at least 2 or 3 new first party retail games, and at most of the time at least one eshop title announcement, first party wise.

Thanks for contributing to the chaos, Nate. Stoked to listen to the podcast soon

Oh yeah, that's true. It's been so long. It was either 3rd parties or Smash. Now it's time for EPD to shine.
