Iโm sorry youโre getting thrashed by headaches. Used to happen to me constantly. Still happens, but the frequency has mellowed out. Absolutely crushing and disorienting headaches that meds didnโt tamp down enough. Ones that would make shit just impossible to do.
fun fact thatโs why I even ended up getting CAT scans and MRIs as a kid, which is how they found my fun little timebomb brain cyst! (determined to โprobably notโ be the cause of the headaches, so itโs still a mystery)

Part of me would like Nintendo to keep pushing for the odd licensed game in collaboration with external studios. It'd be really interesting to see what they could come up with.
Very different circumstances today, but there were a string of good to great Star Wars games on Nintendo 64 and GC, multi-format and exclusive. Odds of more are slim so long as EA are the primary partner for Star Wars, but more Marvel stuff could happen.
Nice collection, I see Lupin the 3rd: The First, great movie I may rewatch soon. I'll always prefer 2d animation, but the studio nailed translating Lupin into 3d. I'm gonna try to get a pic of part of my collection later when I get home.part of my movie collection

I've liked several licensed games over the years but I hate how 99% of them have just been lost to the ether, never to return, because of rights shenanigans. Bizarre Creations made games for over 20 decades and like half of their games, most notably all the PGR entries, Metropolis Street Racing and Blur will most likely never be rereleased again because they'd have to pen a new deal for the car licenses.

It may well have done, I haven't kept up with it. Would be fun to see what Nintendo and another studio could do with the license these days.

I thought about Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II the other day. Great game. My favorite launch game for the gamecube. I remember some of the "What was your first "this is next gen" moment in your life?" threads on era, and my answer was always Rogue Squadron II. The fact that the character models had spaces between their fingers just blew my mind.

And you are correct that even though they can protest (And they're finally protesting at the correct location), they cannot (And should not) obstruct traffic, harass or assault passerbyes as they've already have done.
Freedom of assembly, but not freedom to bypass consequences for your actions.

Thinking earlier about how GC emulation might work in the future, and, given how much Sunshine's visual presentation is improved by being 16:9 (among other things), I'm hoping that makes it into GC games more broadly.
The 4:3 approach being taken across the board so far doesn't give me ground for optimism, but, on more powerful hardware, I'd hope we see emulation improve on some basic fronts.

Even if the HUD wasn't scaled and kept to it's 4:3 area, Pikmin would still look gorgeous and benefit immensely from 16:9 presentation even if the texture resolutions remain unchanged

I am cautiously optimistic about Puzzle Quest 3. I pre-registered for the mobile version that drops next month. It's going to be free to play, but I got a lot of mileage out of Gems of War.

You can tell I have a few dozen hours playing Smash Bros because I am procrastinating in taking a shower today. Granted I am not intending to go out. It's cold and windy. Animorphs was my shit! I owned like 90% of all the books, such an underappreciated series. I truly believe if Netflix or someone took a crack at an animated series adaptation it would blow up today. Way ahead of its time.
Yeah I don't tend to ignore people even if I 'hate' them. Idk. It's just never been in my nature to want to 'dictate' what I see online like that (unless it's very clear spoilers or something). I do ignore threads, though - sometimes cause I know there'll just be stress for me, and sometimes because they just have no relevance to me at all. It's easier cause a thread isn't exactly gonna be 'varied' in the way an actual poster will.

Yeah, but it's important to keep in mind too that EA did just last week announced three more Star Wars games from them. Fallen Order 2 (which is reportedly almost finished) and two other Respawn games. The new contract is non-exclusive but it doesn't cut EA out completely. Because Fallen Order's success saved their asses.
Also unfortunately most of the newer partners for Star Wars that Disney/Lucasfilm Games have picked out aren't the most Nintendo friendly either. Massive being one of Ubi's most expensive, next-genny studios, Quantic Dream being...Quantic Dream. Aspyr has done a lot on Switch of course but they'd need new hardware for KOTOR Remake to run on.
...Sorry about that. This story is one of the things I've most recently substantially covered as a reporter, so it's on my mind.

I don't think anyone ever expected EA to stop making Star Wars games after Jedi Fallen Order crushed it, true. While you're right that none of those studios have anything much to do with Nintendo it is nice to imagine. I mean, Marvel has had talks with Suda 51 so Lucasfilm working out something with Nintendo and someone like Platinum, Ninja Theory, etc while unlikely isn't impossible.
Again, just nice to dream.
