Totally, totally! Not trying to discourage that at all, just make sure people are informed. It's my job, I certainly try not to do it in an assholish way.

I'd love to see Nintendo do more with that too. I'm sure they've tried, given Ultimate Alliance 3 and Deadly Premonition 2 and such. Lots of surprise partnerships.

You can still meet people by playing Mario kart. Just don’t set up the meet and greets with the Nintendo online app because using that probably would torpedo your campaign.
 
Ignoring threads… on ocassion. When someone posted a thread which is clearly out for blood or to bait users I’m like “nah don’t need that.”

In real life it’s hard to ignore people and overall I have to say that I tend to get along with with almost everyone. Which is a great thing and makes things easier. I do know of one coworker who does not care for me, but in the end that’s not that bad, as she practically dislikes everyone.

I think in recent years I only ignored one person at work as in I tried to keep my distance from her, but she was a complete psychopath ha. Sounds harsh, but I just can’t describe it any other way
 
I only ignore threads when it's best for my mental health (I ignored a lot of threads on Resetera in 2020, all the shit going on started to break me) and I only ignore users when you really get on my nerves. I'm typically pretty laid back, but sometimes people go too far.

Parliamentary committee of Smash. Although of course there are those who insists it's done on Melee.
We actually had a finnish parliament video gaming club about eight years ago. One of my friends who was mp at the time was the founder.

My ignore list on Era was 100 people. It would have been bigger if I didn't go through every now and then and prune the ones that got perma-banned.

Ignoring threads is great for hiding titles that stress you out.
 
I'm thinking about ignoring the Water Temple tonight. I do want to try and finish my OOT playthrough in the next week or so, but I feel like the Water Temple is a problem best left for daylight.
 
So much bloody honking, freedom yelling and people who can't even wear a mask in the subway :/

Shame the counter protest disbursed. Wasn't sticking around or getting closer for my safety and the fact that its freezing like hell outside.

Also some jackasses blocking traffic right outside one of my favorite stores. I feel bad for the workers and people living in the area.

It upsets and confuses me that licensed games don't work like licensed movies.

New Line Cinema had the license for Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Blade, and Lord of the Rings. The rights have since gone to other studios but the movies they made when they had it are still available, can be viewed and purchased still. We got new 4k re releases of LOTR and Blade 1 over the past few years even. WB put out a few Godzilla movies under license from Toho, and they have lost the license but the movies they made are still around and always will be.

It's bullshit it doesn't work that way for games. The publisher/studio should always retain the full rights to sell and re release the games they made while they had the license indefinitely (until public domain kicks in), while they should only lose the ability to makes new original works with the license.

...well, not really as I used most of the cash to buy PSN gift cards so I could pre-order Horizon 2 and Gran Turismo 7. But, hey, I was gonna buy those games anyway :p

I don't really know why this thread has started talking about investing in NFTs all of a sudden, but I can't say I'm a fan of it. This turn in the discourse has really taken me by surprise.

I'm pretty much set with gaming until the late autumn/winter season. Probably even more since I've still got a lot on my backlog to go through (incl. Yakuza 7, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more!) Hopefully Nintendo doesn't throw any curveballs, because I don't want to buy much more than this.

The Water Temple is my favorite dungeon in Ocarina of Time and I will NOT be silent about this. It's fun! FUN!!!!!!!!

Thankfully I'm really not that into SRPGs so Triangle Strategy isn't on my radar at all. Gran Turismo 7 is a bit of a gamble still but the focus on car culture and letting you 'learn' as you go is really enticing to me. Forza Horizon 5 is great but I barely play it anymore cause it's a bit 'too' open and care-free.

Horizon 2 looks and is probably gonna be amazing. I'm doubly as hyped now I've finally finished the first game :)

Triangle strategy I got really interested in after they first showed it last year. I am a fan of that style of gameplay

I would probably get Gran Turismo day one but I am not sure yet still. I am planning to get Ghostwire Tokyo and Kirby

Horizon 2 was one of the games I bought my ps5 before it had gotten delayed. Can’t wait
 
Got to the first credits in Arceus, good stuff! Although it really felt like just going through the motions so I could get back to filling out the Pokédex, lol. Which is weird for me since usually that’s not the part of a Pokémon game I’m most interested in.

I have not been feeling all that today, just tired and worn out all day despite sleeping good. I blame it as side effects from the headache yesterday evening

I am going to try and muster up energy and start Pokémon legends tomorrow.

I did get a copy of dying light for switch today though.

He'd need to come back as something more than another stand-in for Han Solo, first, in my eyes. Though to be fair, that was also Kyle Katarn before he got hooked up on Force Juice and got some character development in the old EU!

But since my boy, Xizor, exists in some form in the new canon, I guess it's only a matter of time...
