genuinely unexpected news, considering it felt like the original release of it was fairly low-key despite it's quality. (my thread on the release date reveal was one of the highest results for the game for a while, though this news has unsurprisingly heavily pushed it down.)

my one fear is that it'll peter out like the countless other game adaptions that have gotten revealed and forgotten over the past few years, i'm still waiting for the film adaption of the classic Japan-only SEGA game "Rent-A-Hero".
