my sister once told me this is why she hates going to bed

sleeping means time traveling to work
 
past midnight, lights out

time to war against the bed again

tumble n’ roll, muscle pains remain

eyes shut, but brain alive, abuzz

don’t want the day to end just yet

but I’m so sleepy

floating in a state of exhaustion

did so much but did so little

feeling guilty that I’m so sleepy

Barely awake but I just had coffee. Hate waking up before 6 AM. Still sleepy.

Fell asleep standing up on the train for like the second time in a month...those split second micro-naps are so refreshing. :sleep:

Had a training course at work last week led by the most soothingly Scottish lady I've ever heard and legit nearly feel asleep during both parts (it was virtual, so it wasn't awkward or anything).

Got a new puppy. I have to take him out to use the bathroom a couple time through the night. My sleep is way off.
