News FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time announced for Nintendo Switch (UPDATE: release date trailer, coming October 10th)

Fantasy Life is being made by Comcept, while the other games are seemingly being developed by L5 internally. I remember someone claiming that Layton was being primarily developed by Matrix Software (mobile ports dev), but I don’t remember this being ever confirmed. Honestly, h.a.n.d. would make more sense as a co-developer as they worked on Mystery Journey.

I don’t necessarily think this delay will affect the other projects, but on the other hand, Hino said it was originally meant to release first out of the five games lol.
