Eagles fans watching Doug Pederson put his season and job in jeopardy due to his undying loyalty to Press Taylor.

EDIT: Also if Vrabel goes to the Commies I'll claw my eyes out.

can we get him back in Philly..?
But that would mean Brian Johnson and Press Taylor would be competing for an OC job.

Honestly Brian Johnson VS Press Taylor is the toilet bowl job competition this franchise deserves.

EDIT: Unless you mean Vrabel, then by all means yes please. Lurie make it happen.

Huh. Maybe I'm just stupid (well, I know I am, but hear me out), but aren't a lot of the Titan's woes on the GM? Vrabel was out there making contenders out of a team with a nothing QB, and the GM did nothing but trade away their best receiver.

I don't know. It kind of seems like the Titans are just bad at this!

Yes, yes they were. Their previous GM kinda dug them into a hole with the AJ Brown trade (thanks bestie <3), and Vrabel has had to work with a box of scraps. Vrabel is the only reason that roster went 6-11 VS 3-14 or something. Huge mistake.

Thanks for everything Pete. Only championship in my lifetime and made the Seahawks one of the greatest franchises since the turn of the century (along with the great Holmgren years too).

Yesssss... yesss... more big names to make everyone forget about Mike MacDonald...

This one really surprised me! I hope it was a mutual decision and not a situation where they are forcing him out for someone else. I really can't see anyone out there doing a better job with the team, especially since I think he has done a lot with relatively little in recent years.

So, Harbaugh time in Seattle?

From the press conference it sounded like the ownership came to the decision to move on. He even said he wanted to coach and the only reason he even “mutually” agreed was so the GM could finally have full control of the team.

That just seems like a bad decision from my vantage point, but here's to the best for everyone involved.

Anyways, now Billy is gone, too! In just a few years the very young and handsome Sean McVay will be the old guard, somehow.

If there was ever a time to move on from Pete, it’s now. Great coach, but Seattle was going nowhere and it’s the best prospective HC pool we’ve seen in years. Ditto for Bill.

As a Seahawks fan, I didn't want him gone but at this point there's more potential with a new guy than with Pete. Obviously, there's more potential to just outright suck too - but Pete's been struggling to fix the exact same issues for ~5 years now. He likely wasn't going to suddenly figure it out in the next season or two, and after that he'd be 75 years old. As much as I hate the call, it's a logically sound one. (He was also officially the boss of GM John Schneider and got the final say in the roster; doing a lot with a little is less impressive if you're part of the reason you only have a little.) But if they don't nail the hire... this is gonna hurt for a while.

Sean McVay is already tied with Kyle Shanahan as the longest-tenured head coach in the NFC now that Pete is out (with their current team, so ignoring rehires like McCarthy and Bowles).

Joe Flacco always looks like he ran out of time while getting ready so he had to skip shaving for the third day in a row.

Rooting for you, Cleveland Fami!

This impending loss is on me. Didn't wear a Browns shirt all season, wore one today because, duh, playoffs, and that's what I always do when one of the Guards/Cavs/Browns are in. Whoops!

Dallas is the funniest character we've ever had.

I hope tonight gives us as actual good playoff game! Please don't embarrass us, Goff friends.
I’m pulling for you Drew, unless the Rams meet the Ravens in the Superbowl. Then we’ll be bitter enemies.

Some pretty bad missed calls there, but Rams can't blame anyone but themselves with how bad their defense was in the first half + their terrible redzone.

Refereeing needs to be cracked down on next year, it's been ridiculous this year.
