PlayStation PlayStation Showcase announced (May 24th, 1 PM PDT / 9 PM BST)

I would love to see the Q Lite here. Some real solid details on that device would be great. But I’m not really expecting any kind of hardware at all.

Pair that with Sony touting their live service initiative, Spider Man needing a blowout, and third party deals, it just doesn't make sense to show off a GoT2 that is nowhere close to done.

Jedi Survivor just came out and took 3 years to make as a sequel. GOT2 could easily be in a showable state.

The meme that every modern game needs to take 5+ years minimum (especially sequels) needs to die, it's just not true.

I hope that is true. And I hope they make the gameplay loop better and more engaging for the sequel. I didn't like the gameplay loop in GoT, but the world and exploration saved it for me.

I had the same issue with Horizon; however I didn't like the exploration in that game in addition to the gameplay loop and it's sequel didn't do enough to differentiate its gameplay for me to want to play it. Actually, now that I think about it I had the same issue with GoW as well. Didn't play Ragnarok because I disliked the loop in GoW.

I guess what I am saying is I am excited for a GoT2, but I hope they push its gameplay and systems forward to fix what I didn't like about it, but it's hard for me to be confident about that considering how Sony has handled sequels lately.

Pretty sure the Q Lite is gonna be like the inzone headsets and monitors and a Sony thing not a PlayStation branded product

So refreshing to make one of these for something other than a Nintendo Direct for once. You get tired of Metroid Prime 4 squares, ya know...

Hoping for PS5 Slim, i will neber buy normal PS5 is too big, especially with having also the Series S and the Switch on my table
 
My only big hope is Alan Wake 2. Summer Games Fest might make more sense since it was revealed at TGA and Epic is publisher, but Alan Wake Remastered was announced at a Sony Event, so there’s a chance! Really looking forward to seeing what Remedy have been cooking since the reveal in 2021.

Resident Evil 4 DLC and Silent Hill 2 are pretty likely too. Might even finally see “The Short Message” appear which seems to be some sort of teaser for Silent Hill f.

I’m just looking forward to a fun show! If the pacing is like the PS5 reveal showcase then we’re in for an incredible hour+.

I am hoping the Slim with attachable disc drive is real because that adds validity to the PS5 Pro rumor, which I hope is real.

Short Messages is actually intersting because is not clear if it is meant to be for F or for another SH project, that wil hilarious, like what 4 Silent Hill games in dev or something like that

Yeah it’s probably my most anticipated of the Silent Hill projects at the moment purely because of the mystery around it! Konami are throwing so many darts surely at least one will land lmao

To be fair F will land even if the gameplay is shit considering who is writing it, also Townfall Anapuna will probably create the most unique SH game since Shattered Memories

The problem is mostly in Blooper SH2
 
I usually don't set high expectations for any video game presentation but I can't help it with this one for whatever reason.

Edit: Nevermind.. I completely misinterpreted what you wrote...

Anyways... SMT2 would be pretty weird for several reasons:
-SMT is more linked to Nintendo nowadays
-Why 2 and not the first game?
-Atlus has been pretty leaky, so it's weird that we haven't heard of this but have heard of Persona 6 coming years from now

My playstation days are long behind me so I won't be watching, but i look forward to any multiplat announcements to get posted about.

Still don’t own a PS5 but I’ll happily watch. A lot of modern Sony first party games aren’t for me, and with the closure of Japan Studio I’m not sure the kind of Sony I love will ever truly be back. That said, I’ll still watch and see what they’ve got!
 
Just dropping in a quick post to say I'm trusting the process for Bloodborne today.
