Ooh does that include armor sets? Any set with leather, fur or bone?Oh, that reminds me. Totally doing a vegan run this time as well. (Did it with BotW)
As is tradition: LinkYou can't just drop this without a Link lmao

I am going to start out playing docked but the convenience of handheld will win out eventually. My recent 70+ hour play through of BOTW was entirely handheld and it was completely fine. Are you playing docked on a TV or handheld? Joy-Cons or Pro Controller? Tell me.
What a shame that they didn't have a part they needed, and will have to come back and finish on Friday. So I work from home.
Fiber connection just shit the bed. After hour plus of troubleshooting and on the phone with support, a technician is gonna have to come out and fix it tomorrow. Something is wrong with my optical cable it seems.
I called my boss and she was totally cool with it. I have free day! Yay. But still no Tears of the Kingdom....
Why oh why could this not have happened on Friday?
Here’s his video review up already lmao. He basically said it’s the greatest Zelda game of all time.Source?
That’s a very cool way to play the game and I think it’s awesome that the game is flexible enough to allow it.It includes everything.
(The Barbarian set is for beginners anyway)
Source?
Source?
You have my attention... I didn't plan to be salivating at 11:37 in my morning and yet here we are.
You can't just drop this without a Link lmao
Right?!? If you're gonna make it juicy, you gotta add the sauce.
Holy sshiiiittttt
There may be another thread for this as well nowI originally posted this in another thread I missunderstood the title, but I think it fits here.
I've never been a day 1 guy, I usually play games several months or even years after they're released, with very few exceptions. As such, although I always loved Zelda, I've never played a Zelda game at launch before. I was always excited about the new releases and knew I would enjoy them greatly when I got to them, but I never felt incredibly hyped to the point I needed to play it as soon as possible, not even with BotW. In fact, I only played BotW in 2018, more than a year after release, because I only bought my Switch at that point, and knowning I would buy the Switch anyway at some spoint, I didn't want to play a worse performing version of the game on the Wii U.
Fast forward to now and the only thing I can think about is playing TotK midnight tomorrow the second it goes live.
I think with BotW I knew the game was probably going to be good but it was still an unkown quantity and I couldn't have known how special it really was until I played it for myself. With TotK, I have BotW as a benchmark and I know it's gonna give me again that same incredible and unique feeling of exploring a vast breathing world without knowning what's next. That is a precious thing and something that can never be replicated through replays, and no other studio has managed to replicate in a new game so far. So the only way to relive that experience is through a new game by the Zelda team, and that's why TotK is so unique and feels like a milestone in my gaming life. I'm about to experience something monumental and this time I know it's going to be monumental, so, due to that knowledge, the hype and anticipation really is incomparable to anything I've felt before towards a game.
Does this mean you can't upgrade any of the armour sets though since basically all of them require animal/monster parts to improve? It includes everything.
(The Barbarian set is for beginners anyway)
I want to build a multi-stage rocket. A large base fired upwards by rockets, with a smaller object sitting on top but not attached, also powered by rockets. Then another one on top of that and so on. Set off the rockets on the first one, then climb on the second object and set that one off when the first rockets run out. Repeat, and see how high I can go.Every time I think about Ultrahand, my mind is racing.
I'm going to chop down a bunch of tree logs and build a Jenga tower.
I'm going to get two rockets and have them face each other just to see what happens.
I'm going to glue a Korok to a fan and make it tumble away.
I'm going to put 5 sails on a raft to watch how fast it goes.
I'm going to put a bunch of flamethrowers on a wheel and burn myself to death with it.
Etc.

I think I'll save trying that for a future play throughYeah.
I spent most of the lead up to this game in a state of comfy anticipation, but yeah, that last week or so has been an escalation, and is now easily the most excited I’ve been for a new game in years.I'm getting jitters
8 am EasternSorry of this has been answered already but do we have definitive confirmation on when the review embargo lifts?
My bad guys, should've linked it. Thankfully others got on it already. French is my second language, so I listened to it a bit more. Here's what I gathered
"This is the most ambitious/expensive game Nintendo has ever created"
"The dungeons are truly vast and rival some of the best Zelda dungeons"
"The map/world returns but it's reused in such clever and ingenious ways."
I can feel his excitement in the closing statements, sounds like Nintendo made something truly special!
he says he loves it except the part where a NPC actually gives it's employees a living wageI want to hear from Andre too. He was another person a little disappointed with BotW.

I assume this is a jokeItalian review just dropped
“This is the greatest game of all time. Haters gonna hate”
Anyone considered doing thread just for screenshots/videos of TotK?
Great idea but I agree. I assume it would be cool if someone made just a general screenshot thread with TotK but it would need to be tag as spoiler since anyone can be at any part of the game. Would probably make better sense to do it at least few days after launch.I've been thinking about making an "Ultrahand Showoff" thread, kind of the Switch Screehshots thread, but a thread exclusively for sharing Ultrahand shenanigans.
I do perhaps see an issue with how people can spoil each other by revealing various sick endgame parts, or how everyone will have different parts at different times.
3D Mario and Zelda are consistently game of the generation-tier games, they just rarely release. For me the drought has been a bit severe since we got both of them in 2017. At this point I've nearly forgotten I'm more of a Mario than Zelda guy since the last Mario game was 6 years ago and I think BotW edged it out.Hearing such good things about this finally, can't wait for the review thread. Nintendo has another 10/10 tier game on their resume.
Dutch review dropped too: "alle oliebollen en appelflappen nog an toe! Tompoes/10"Spanish review dropped too: "Olé"
I remember seeing the blood moon rise for the first time and it was legit one of the eeriest, creepiest moments in video games ever. I got literal goosebumps.Really excited. Nothing beats the anticipation of a new Zelda game for me. To celebrate here are some screenshots I took from BotW back in March 2017.
I can't imagine it not being reviewed by anybody other than TrisI want to hear from Andre too. He was another person a little disappointed with BotW.
