I mean TOTK was dated as 22 for a while, they probably planned to release them after TOTK all along. If they were, in common Nintendo fashion, finished already then maybe a shuffle should have been done, but otherwise they were probably always gonna be after, so maybe next yearWhich is why they should have released them last year
I think this is what we’ll see as well. Maybe trade Mario for DK.Best case scenario for this holiday would be Prime 4 and 2D Mario this holiday, with ports and one or two smaller titles filling out the rest of the year. Those are the two big titles that Nintendo doesn't need to save for the Switch 2, and it would send the current Switch out on a high note before the next one comes in 2024.
There's at least two Mario games every year, and I don't see that changing this year. Maybe we get two Mario ports in H2, but I doubt it. DK, if it's ready, will probably be a Spring 2024 title.I think this is what we’ll see as well. Maybe trade Mario for DK.
I just bought a copy of pit this year. Great condition with the original box and manual. While i can play it on my 3ds, id much rather play an hd version!
Post it for the ones who don't expect it at any show, once it finally does show upI'm so angry over that Silksong development update because with any presentation between now and July 1, I won't be able to break out this bad boy to troll fans
Now 80% of them won't be expecting for Silksong to be at any show. I guess I could still post it for the remaining 20% who still hope for a surprise release, but it's just not nearly enough for my satisfaction.

I wanna play a Kid Icarus game, since I never have. Hard to believe there have only ever been three of 'em.Financial results killed this thread and Zelda will finish it off. We need to revive it somehow. I'll try by giving you my top 3 most wanted 3DS remasters:
I’ll pick Super Mario 3D Land, Metroid Samus Returns, and Kid Icarus. They technically are already off 3DS, but I’d love to see the full Zero Escape Trilogy on Switch.Financial results killed this thread and Zelda will finish it off. We need to revive it somehow. I hope you'll get to play the Kid Icarus: Uprising game on the Nintendo Switch (2) family of systems one dayI wanna play a Kid Icarus game, since I never have. Hard to believe there have only ever been three of 'em.
I don't typically play games below a certain prestige level, but I'll make an exception for this one. Hopefully they don't shadow drop it on a random weekday, or I may not even realize it exists.I hope you'll get to play the Kid Icarus: Uprising game on the Nintendo Switch (2) family of systems one day
I feel like in a world where Sakurai didn't tie himself to Smash 4/Ultimate, if he had wanted to do a KI:U2 Nintendo would have green lit it.I’m so mad because I do believe Kid Icarus has what it takes to be one of Nintendo’s top ips the cast of characters are all very memorable and goofy
I’m going to list a few of them, so yeah..
Idk if its an unpopular opinion/taboo to say this, but I thought the voice acting was perfect the whole thing sounded like a Saturday morning cartoon.
I freakin love Hades
Pandora
Pyrrhon
Thanatos
The game just needs a second wind, and some really good advertising. The controls really hindered the game for many and I’d hope a switch or switch 2 remake really kicks this into a long running series of games.
I always think, how it would be possible to play levels at higher intensities without the precision of stylus controls? Harder the levels get, more enemies appear on screen at the same time. Analog controls just wouldn't keep up. Gyro could be another way, but still, intensities 7 to 9 would be ridiculous to play with gyro on handheld.Financial results killed this thread and Zelda will finish it off. Wouldn’t that being annoying if you’re trying to zone in on to a specific enemy? Theres one close and one thats right behind it and it just auto snaps to the one behind? There’s a lot of movement happening on screen I think aim assist would hinder the gameplay negatively if I’m gonna be honest, who knows though perhaps they can make it work.I always think, how it would be possible to play levels at higher intensities without the precision of stylus controls? One solution is... aim assist. I know many people consider it as cheating but locking on when you get very close to target would make analog controls a viable option. Not too far away to avoid making it so easy. Or maybe we could have an option to adjust that too? Sakurai loved more custom settings.
I'm kinda surprised to not see this brought up more often. It's always something I'm thinking when people bring up a remaster/port/whatever of Uprising to the Switch (or complain about the touchscreen stuff) because I absolutely agree, without touch controls it'd be pretty agonizing to play, at least imho.I always think, how it would be possible to play levels at higher intensities without the precision of stylus controls? Knowing Sakurai he'd probably rebalance the entire game anyway.I always think, how it would be possible to play levels at higher intensities without the precision of stylus controls? Kid Icarus's multiple difficulties complicate things. Analog controls ARE tricky in SkySwo but the game is such breeze combat wise, designed with WMP controls in mind, which were also pretty tricky. KI:U is not like that, difficulty goes all the way up to 9.0, but thanks to the precision touch screen provided they were all doable. There's a reason Sakurai refused to implement analog controls despite interviewers kept pointing out that the Circle Pad Pro was out.If Skyward Sword could be adjusted to work with analogue controls, then KI:U can be made to work as well. Even something as simple as adding a slow/fast aim toggle on like zl/zr during flight segments would go a long way.

We need aim assist to make analog controls work and yes, the whole intensity system needs a re-balancing. I reckon this could be more than just a simple HD remaster.

I am once again asking for a Xenoblade Chronicles X port
This + the 3DS Zelda portsHere is a remaster I want that I don't see a lot of people suggest
Super Mario 64 DS
A remaster of this DS launch title that adds in full analogue control, and allows at least online multiplayer if not split screen multiplayer. Yes we have Super Mario 64 on NSO and you can find the remastered SM64 on the 3D Mario All Stars collection, but I'd love to see the DS content preserved on modern systems.

I definitely wouldn't mind a port of Megamix but I also want to see what else Nintendo and Tsunku could bring to the series, especially since the latter has expressed the wish to make a new one for years.
also Planet Robobot and Triple Deluxe would be neat but
I mean I'd like both since a new one would likely be very focused on new games (which is fine by me, though it also means it'd likely have less content in the purely "rhythm games" category, but new rhythm toys and endless games which megamix primarily lacked, and ideally some kind of Fever esc multiplayer for the entire game), but yes I'd prefer new.I definitely wouldn't mind a port of Megamix but I also want to see what else Nintendo and Tsunku could bring to the series, especially since the latter has expressed the wish to make a new one for years.
And then, around the time Big Brain Academy finished up development, he stopped. Strictly counting the games I haven't played, the main five would be Animal Crossing, Kid Icarus, the Kirby duology, and Ever Oasis.Financial results killed this thread and Zelda will finish it off. We need to revive it somehow. I'll try by giving you my top 3 most wanted 3DS remasters:
coincidence???And then, around the time Big Brain Academy finished up development, he stopped. Makes you think...
I'll settle for the GBA game on NSO since we never got that in the US, just give us somethingI definitely wouldn't mind a port of Megamix but I also want to see what else Nintendo and Tsunku could bring to the series, especially since the latter has expressed the wish to make a new one for years.
A small part of me is iffy cause after Xeno FE drop off I'm sure it'd do worse then it could have done a few years ago, so a part of me is waiting for the Switch 2, but at the same time maybe this series is never gonna be huge, even WW switch couldn't hit 2 milAnd then, around the time Big Brain Academy finished up development, he stopped. It's TOTK. We got the financials, and we know nothing will be happening for a few weeks, so everyone can go play Zelda and then slowly creep back in here when it settles a bit more and we're closer to JuneMan it's a third through May and yet this thread is dead
Either TOTK is absurdly hyped here, or the doomers have scored a strong victory
