There was more energy and excitement in that Across The Spiderverse trailer than the past four MCU movies IMO.

It's been a term for a couple years now (I remember seeing around as early as 2018, idk if it was already around for a bit by then), but I don't know that I'd call it a "proper genre" so much as an easy shorthand for the vibes a game has. The same way you might see people post about "dad games" or whatnot.
Reasons why Pokémon Colosseum needs to be on switch or next switch:
1. Music
2. Espeon and Umbreon as Starters
3. Espeon and Umbreon on a motorbike
4. The Music
5. Goofy ass looking villains with goofy ass Hair styles.
(Gonna poke Someone’s eye out)
(Final Fantasy reject I bet)
6. All Double Battles
7. Stealing people’s corrupted Pokémon with infinite pokeball glitch. Priceless.
Negatives:
1. Sidekicks kicks Espeon and Umbreon off the bike. That bastard.
2. Gen 2 starters are your choices. Bunch of lame-o’s.
3. No save anywhere function. (Sequel had that tho)
All fixable. Except Gen 2 starters. But who needs them with Espeon and Umbreon on the field.

I played it. It was fine to me for the most part, much shorter than I thought it would be though. I did like gliding around the ocean, story was interesting enough and there was even little sidequests to do.
I didn't really care for the normal fighting combat, most things died in two hits anyway, but it just didn't feel good. I liked the boss fights more, but I noticed some framerate spikes during those.
Overall pretty soild like 4 hour title for me, idk if I can say go all in for $30 though.

Oof a 512GB card wasn't enough for my library although to be fair there's some large third-party games I'll never touch again

Yeah, I ran out of memory on my 512 and got a 1 TB a couple of months ago during a sale. I think a sequel would be good, as usual, but Naughty Dog used to do so much more! We’re now in the 15th (?) year of them just cycling between Uncharted and TLOU.
I like this timeline a lot. We just need to add Xenoblade Golf as a bonus game in there in 2025 for it to be perfect.

You’re absolutely right. The tweets have been removed from the thread. And I would like to apologize for thoughtlessly contributing to that conversation.
There was a time in my online life where I was very combative and enjoyed fighting with alt-right types. Seeing someone they idolize post something so incredibly outrageous triggered something in me, call it schadenfreude I guess, and I didn’t think about what I was doing. I will strive to be better and more considerate going forward.

I think it says something about gaming that any game where you don't murder people is basically considered a cozy game. The funniest thing about Crisis Core Reunion imo is that when the original game came out in 2007, it was more graphically advanced than FFVII and a definite departure from the original gameplay style. But Reunion feels like the “portable” spinoff of Remake in 2022.
