I've always thought the various toad "races" were supposed to be defined by their mushroom cap color more than their skin color. They're not exactly human after all.

Peach probably makes the toads like test tube babies. I bet there are giant patches of mycelia in the back of the castle, and they just churn out toads like mushroom farms. Why do you think there are so many? I would say the toads themselves are pretty diverse considering different colorations of Amanita Musca fruiting body caps are indicative of variants or subspecies. In conclusion, she is in favor of indentured servitude at a minimum, but the jury is still out on white supremacy.

And that is why it’s important to study mycology at some point in your life.

See, this is why PM64 is the best - it shows that the Mushroom Kingdom is more than just pale ass Toads, and Mario and pals get to work with those we often write off as common enemies. It honestly gives me such a cozy feeling I want to see more.

To be fair, and we've discussed this before, Rosalina doesn't really rule over much more than a space ship. The Honey Queen has more latent political power than she does.

I was already very fired up because of a really bad day that was the cherry on top of a very bad year so the political horseshit woke me up, gave me something to channel my irritation towards, and also laugh my ass off at the chaos that was intertwined (seriously "bisexual lighting mode" gives me life)

I remember running a society in uni one time and we had no rules/constitution because it got destroyed. Breaking down events was like walking around egg shells since nobody really knew who was suppose to do what, but you never wanted to do anything that someone else thought was their job or arguing would break out and with a full course load it was the rotten cherry on top of a tough day a lot of the time. I wanted to quit like 1 and a half months in, but I stuck through it.

I did moderating for an old Halo forum a long time ago, but that place was sesame street compared to FamiBoards.
