i just realized there was no Consul A
I don't know if this is a common idea/train of thought or if this just me reaching, but on technicality I think I'd consider Aionios as a whole to be Consul A? Since Aionios is a "false" world created from the Origin data of Bionios, Mechonis, and Alrest for Z'd plans, and A being the only letter missing a consul.i just realized there was no Consul A
idk if it's common but I've seen it floated around before, it's a neat theoryI don't know if this is a common idea/train of thought or if this just me reaching, but on technicality I think I'd consider Aionios as a whole to be Consul A? that ot there just saving them for the DLC (hero quests or new story)I don't know if this is a common idea/train of thought or if this just me reaching, but on technicality I think I'd consider Aionios as a whole to be Consul A? Consul A was probably Aaron A. Aaronson.
The Olipples were unfortunately removed in the 1.1.1 patch. So, I’m currently trying to complete the collectopedia card quests, and I’m currently stuck with Selfifi with Gogol Olipple. Can’t seem to find it and google does not yield any helpful results.
It does not. Only an attacker class. After everyone else is 20 in everything, just make your party level 99 and Noah level 1 and kill them normally. It's pretty much just as fast as using Unlimited Sword. Plus now food works.Does Lucky 7 not inflict instant death when Noah's a healer class or am I just getting really unlucky? Trying to CP farm, Noah only has healer classes left to hit rank 20 on everything.
Yeah, I'm still not entirely convinced that wasn't just an animation error. Like, thematically, some sort of connection seems reasonable, but literal interlinking seems a bit much.I watched Luxin's video. Does anyone else think the idea that Noah literally interlinked with Mio in the recreated worlds as an explanation for his disappearance really far-fetched or is there something to that?
Bummer. The Olipples were unfortunately removed in the 1.1.1 patch.
Indeed. The story is well-woven and hits home in several unexpected ways. They could have done something grander with it.The best way to describe xc3 would be it has a meh plot but a fantastic story
I believe that's the one you need Triton in your party for.Bummer.
Also, how do we trigger that “hey, you’re a little young for a drink” quest in the city?
Technically everyone in XB3 is a blade-like entity.
Yeah "Noponic Champion" raises a few flags but we'll see how it shakes out.The DLC hero looks to be an artificial blade like Poppi, especially with that class name (Noponic Champion). Which notably means she's functionally immortal, making things look pretty good for my "the heroes will be used to fill in the gaps in Aionios' history and worldbuilding" theory.
I'm not convinced any of the Agnian soldiers are pure blades. Seems more likely they (at least the ones with core crystals) are the first generation of human/blade hybrids.I was just saying the dude has a core crystal. lol On Alrest before the intersection he was bladiest blade and not a human like Rex and Morag.

Definitely need more of those. Then we get a silhouette of our next hero. The flowy dress outfit screams mage-like character to me and the hair ornaments give the style an Asian vibe that would imply an Agnus healer.
I would agree that basing it around ether deposits doesn't work as well for post-game. Ether deposit gathering is already one of the less engaging aspects of the main game. Many of us are probably sitting on 99 regular ether cylinders, it'd be nice if Inoswap acted as a way to spend all of that rather than introducing a new type. But if Inoswap offers some decent customization that feels different from the other classes then it'll be fun to tinker with.Definitely need more of those.
I like that the new hero has unique mechanics, but I don't think that fits very well as a DLC hero. Everyone has already completed the game. Are we just gonna fast travel around to ether wells? It would have been more engaging to build her up throughout the game, and we already have a mostly postgame, unique hero class in Soul Hacker.
You select challenge battles from a list, then you'll be taken to an instanced area where the battle takes place. Usually, enemies will come in waves. If you don't defeat a wave fast enough, the next wave will come while the remainder of the prior wave is still there. Some didn't have waves but were suped up versions of the superbosses. Some had a big boss enemy spawn at the start that you had to fight alongside the waves. Some had bosses significantly stronger than anything in the base game spawn on the final wave. A few enemies introduced new mechanics like Guldos who had an attack that drained your party gauge. So, I didn't play Xeno2 challenge mode. How does it work? What should I expect here?
Also, the neck/head proportion of that thing looks discomforting.

There's a timer and your best time is recorded per battle and per difficulty level. It's mostly as advertised - challenging battles that allow you to really get the full use out of all the combat mechanics and reward you for making broken builds. It's a lot of fun.
A Xenoblade speedrun marathon that RPG Limit Break did a while back had a challenge mode showcase with Enel running the game if you want to get a better idea of it:
Same boat.Kind of want the Expansion Pass now but I'm assuming that if there's a Torna style expansion, the physical release will include a code for the Expansion Pass content. I know I'll end up buying a physical copy of the XB3 DLC so don't wanna pay twice, unless there's a way around that
