They are, someone compared the current and old images on Twitter and the brightness was turned up.Might be going insane, but are the wave 1 course icons brighter than before?
They look horrendous nowThey are, someone compared the current and old images on Twitter and the brightness was turned up.
The New York soundtrack reminds me of Monster's Inc. lol
And do you have a link to said twitter post? They are, someone compared the current and old images on Twitter and the brightness was turned up.

That's a yikes from me, bro. Producers allotting more time or manpower, maybe, but nobody cares as much about the games as the devs.It looks like the lazy developers became less lazy this time around.
F*ck I forgot the /s this time around. That's a yikes from me, bro. Producers allotting more time or manpower, maybe, but nobody cares as much about the games as the devs.
That's what God made the Edit button for.F*ck I forgot the /s this time around.
because these are cheap ports that happen to have incredible musicOk this is driving me crazy
Why the toads and yoshi in the opera house of Sydney just jpegs? And they are so close you can literally see how flat they are.
I don't understand
True, what we're actually paying are the music tracks, the rest is just a bonus.because these are cheap ports that happen to have incredible music
be grateful they're cheap
Toad Circuit is definitely best with your eyes closed xD .Other than my horrible OCD with the bright icons, this update is fantastic. I hope everything but Toad Circuit gets fixed because we need to keep the joke of it being god awful a running gag
Seriously, if they keep up this difficulty curve shit's gonna go down a few cups from now.I'm really glad to see more positive reception for Wave 2 this go around. Ignoring any questions about aesthetics, it really feels like they stuck to simple courses the first go around to ease players into things, and now we're getting the more interesting and complex courses. Looking forward to trying them for myself!
I wonder, did people say they were a little dim when wave 1 launched?Might be going insane, but are the wave 1 course icons brighter than before?
Speaking only for Wave 1, I think the big sticking point for me is that Ninja Hideaway can be a kinda awkward course with its extremely sharp right angle turns, making for a sharp jump in an otherwise easy cup. Paris Promenade was also kinda awkward at first but I got used to it.I feel like an insane man. I found Wave 2 substantially easier than Wave 1, the latter having some very awkward lines and complicated courses that really demanded a lot of tries in grand prix.
Ninja Hideaway was the only track that I didn't immediately nail in Wave 1. All city tracks in Wave 2 gave me a bit of trouble, as well as Sundae of course. The trampolines in Gorge too.I feel like an insane man. I found Wave 2 substantially easier than Wave 1, the latter having some very awkward lines and complicated courses that really demanded a lot of tries in grand prix.

Lasts longer than a minute
I straight up do not agree, and am a little envious of your Wave 1 performance. All of the Wave 1 tracks, even the outwardly simple ones, felt a little awkward at first, while Wave 2 has fantastic lines that you can practically seeNinja Hideaway was the only track that I didn't immediately nail in Wave 1. Shroom Ridge I can see being challenging with it's tight corners. I'd played Mario Kart DS to death years ago though so still knew that one quite well.I straight up do not agree, and am a little envious of your Wave 1 performance. 200cc gives me panic attacks. Love it. Embrace the madness.yeah, three stars first try on propeller cup in both 150cc and 200cc
You are not the only one. Ninja Hideaway alone was more difficult to learn then every track in Wave 2 IMOI feel like an insane man. I found Wave 2 substantially easier than Wave 1, the latter having some very awkward lines and complicated courses that really demanded a lot of tries in grand prix.
Yeah that’s a sore spot for sure, it’s really cool to drive through the opera but then that’s so apparent and jarring it kinda ruins the moment lolOk this is driving me crazy
