This reminds me that rest of the Star Ocean games are still not on Switch. Not even the Second Evolution, which was on Vita. And they were done by Nintendo affiliate studio TOSE.

Had always been curious to try the series and it was on sale

Also tried the demo for SD Gundam Battle Alliance and is very good, I expected something more arcadey but the battles can get tough. I also like that they just tell you you can combo some moves but don't tell you which one and is up to you to discover it for each unit. Also the girl knows a real gundam when she see it.

Kinda unrelated but I love when when they use 2D sprites instead of 3D models in games to represent the character talking(especially for Switch games). It tends to look so much better

Vita stores are kinda wild xD. I also heard that there's games playable on the Vita that can only be purchased using a PS3 and then transferred

Yeah, no idea why the whole PSone library wasn’t available on every store.

Yeah, I had to download Resident Evil 2 to the PS3 and transfer it to Vita, wouldn’t show on the actual Vita store haha

I’m super hype for this. May have to wait for a sale though since targets fall B2G1F should be within a couple weeks of its release
Never mind it’s digital only in NA, will have to see what the launch price is and make my call. I do have like 20$ in gold coins to take the edge off

I don’t think you can even do that anymore. They removed that feature very recently iirc

Good way to get my mood better and start my draft on my ST some on google docs.

Maybe play some fall guys with the horse costume

Headaches often affects my eyes and makes them tired and worn out. This one was no exception so an early in the day headache was no good

I’m still not getting them much so a back to back one was kind of rare to have lately

A good pizza can fix any bad mood.


I had a great mood earlier today sorta ruined by my Epic grant getting denied. I didn't really expect it to pan out but I really needed to figure out how to get a better development PC, and it's not really a cost I can justify for a hobby game project that may not ever make a dime.

Pizza would be nice.

Hopefully you can get it worked out, I believe in you. Can I also make a request for your game if that’s okay? Would it be possible to make it steam deck compatible as I hope to get one in the future after my third laptop died a few months ago and I am just tired of laptops dying on me

Well I'm really only building for PC right now so theoretically it should be compatible from the get go, right? I'm not really sure how that works.

Thanks, by the way. It definitely helps to know there are people interested in trying it.

I think it really just needs controller support and it should be fine I believe. Either that or it should be fine.

I just don’t want to get another laptop. The last laptop was five hundred dollars

The one I'm using to develop this was $250, and it is seriously not up to the task haha

The template I'm using has built in controller support so that's something I plan to implement before this releases (if this releases).
 
Nearing the end of Portal 1. It’s super nostalgic for me, I beat this game dozens of times back in high school. It’s been long enough that I don’t quite remember all the solutions to the puzzles, at least not well enough to speedrun them like I did years ago.

It is starting to make me feel queasy though. Not really bad or anything, but it definitely doesn’t feel awesome. After high school I started to notice that Source games gave me motion sickness. The Stanley Parable came this close to making me puke. I was worried that Portal would do the same thing to me now, but luckily I haven’t thrown up yet.

Does anyone else experience motion sickness from Source games, or am I just a big baby?

Me too. Also when are we hearing more about it? Been over a year now.

For LaL, the game so far is… strange, but in a good way. That’s the best way I can describe it. I definitely would have had no idea what to make of it if I had played it in the SNES days
 
Somehow I accidentally missed how to access the offline colosseum in Cyberslueth . Well I’ll have to throw my high tier mons in the party and do some of the cups when I finish the current story event

This is how I got MGS on my Vita. It was so weird that EU regions got certain thing digitally (like a ton of final fantasy PSP stuff) and then NA got other stuff.

The Digital Deluxe is literally cheaper than the base version right now. 😅

I haven’t played Portal, but Doom on Switch gave me some motion sickness. Still managed to beat it but it was unpleasant at times.

It put me off trying more FPS.
