By that time players will already been playing on a freaking ps5 pro.....That would make sense to me. I've always thought 2023 seemed a bit soon considering the gap between other Switch models.
Thing is, for most people most third party games on the Switch are either:
It's really not too surprising that people are disappointed by a Direct focused on them, even if there's a potential for good news. Of course if you're someone who sees a ton of value in portability then this is gonna be much better; but most don't see it similarly. Especially with the Steam Deck now also filling the "big 3rd parties on a handheld console" niche.
- Late port of games they've probably already played, but with worse graphics and performance
- Games that would be better-looking, performing, and possibly designed if they were released elsewhere
Have we talked about the Luma Rabbid having two different colored ears on Nate's thumbnail?
? This is what Glio said:Glio was talking about third party games in general though.
This is 100% what I'm expecting now. Hardware next year always felt like a pipe-dream based on BotW2's absence.Cool, someone on Era is saying he also said no new hardware till 2024+?
The antagonist of Crest girl is Black and White cookie manoh god is she also in the new Fire Emblem
Nintendo will announce the creation of EPD 11 with Taura and Kamiya as leads in the DirectKamiya has retweeted the japanese Direct announcement.
Excellent.Kamiya has retweeted the japanese Direct announcement.
1) why not?No body should be expected to be excited for... a port of Nier: Automata.
That's exactly what I'm saying. Sorry, but I can't see a solid evidence for a September Direct apart from yearly patterns... but we know what happened with patterns this month. They could, but they're not going to wait until Jan/Feb to talk about games coming out by the end of March. That's way too close. Unless you're saying they could do Twitter announcements and trailers and then do a deeper showing in early 2023, which... maybe? But I really don't see that happening.
HnghhhhhhhhhhhKamiya has retweeted the japanese Direct announcement.
4 years of devkits in the wild makes no senseCool, someone on Era is saying he also said no new hardware till 2024+?
I didn't really get from your explanation that this has to do with the partner showcase replacing the regular E3 Direct. I think virtually everyone is disappointed about that.? This is what Glio said:
"It has to be depressing to develop third party games for Switch and then to read the reaction"
I replied explaining why people might have those reactions.
Cool, someone on Era is saying he also said no new hardware till 2024+?
I said nobody should be expected to be excited for it.1) why not?
2) who are you to decide that?
Yeah, and it was unclear what "reaction" Glio was referring to. So let's just leave this here.I didn't really get from your explanation that this has to do with the partner showcase replacing the regular E3 Direct. I think virtually everyone is disappointed about that.
Berger Cookie Man….sorry for my autocorrect if you Saw burglar cookie man. Marylanders will get this. The antagonist of Crest girl is Black and White cookie man
can't confirm, I've dropped the streaming about half an hour.Cool, someone on Era is saying he also said no new hardware till 2024+?
People just constantly invent shit about the Switch's hardware capabilities, with unironic statements or falsehoods like "weaker than PS3/360", "runs Hades at 30 FPS", "too underpowered for Sonic Origins", as if the past 5+ years of enhanced PS3/360 ports and several PS4/XBO ports did not exist and haven't been played by thousands of people already. "Switch is underpowered" is technically true in a specific context but when applied to literally every game coming out it becomes really annoying to read and folks just go with it because it "seems right".I still can't understand where this "P5R maybe can't work on Switch" nonsense comes from. Far more complicated games have gotten native ports.
Are we all forgetting the Shareholders Meeting? Should we expect anything worth-mention from there?
"We have nothing to show about The Sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at this time. Please understand."Are we all forgetting the Shareholders Meeting? Should we expect anything worth-mention from there?
Define most. As it currently stands the Steam Deck can’t fill that niche considering it is niche itself. I would say a good majority of Switch owners are fine with playing games that are “inferior”, essentially, to other counterparts. If they weren’t then we would’ve seeing the type of sales for 3rd party games on the system.Thing is, for most people most third party games on the Switch are either:

"No. We're not doing NFTs."

No, this meeting doesn't even usually have a presentation. It's just about voting for the board of directors and subsequent Q&A which occasionally gives us something interesting, usually something ridiculous. Are we all forgetting the Shareholders Meeting? Should we expect anything worth-mention from there?
Ah, I see - my apologies. That makes sense.I said nobody should be expected to be excited for it.
As in, they shouldn't be shat on for not being excited for it.
If you're excited for it... great? I never said otherwise lol
Kamiya wasn't part of the team that made it thoThat confirms Nier Automata, it was handled by Platinum after all.
I wonder if one of the investor will make a passive aggressive comment about when the trailer for the Mario movie will come out.Nintendo Shareholders Q&A should be a web comic
Not sure I want to wait until 2024 to play BotW 2 if Nintendo waits that long for new hardware. I’ll eat crow if BotW2 releases only on Switch and no to coincide with a new system.
Not to disappoint (myself as well) but he also retweeted the February directKamiya has retweeted the japanese Direct announcement.
I hope my midlife cycle is as long as the switches relative to a total lifespan. Means I’ll be pretty good and then just drop off a cliff. better than the Wii U midlife cycle which was like a week and then dying for 2/3 of the total life.Something something "Switch is currently in its mid-life cycle"
People in here are talking about era comments about 2024 for switch 2, I personally believe BotW 2 and switch 2 releases together. So to me if switch 2 isn’t until 2024, neither is botw2.Now where the Fuck does this 2024 and Zelda BoTW2 comes from?
Is the only PG game that has been a big seller, it's the one that makes the most sense to port even if I still think that it will not happen. In the Senate of Platinum ports I'm hoping for, Nier Automata is not even the shorthand typist.
“Super Mario Land is launching in Hollywood next year. Can shareholders get plane tickets and entry passes?”"Mr. Furukawa, why does this other shareholder has a Wario pen and i still don't"

Oohhh shittt, I didn't connect the dots! Omg, please let this be true. If all the 3rd party rumors are true, this will be one of the strongest directs for me personally. Switch is my only platform and I badly want to play Nier and Persona games. That confirms Nier Automata, it was handled by Platinum after all.
They literally did this for Zelda games two times already.Yeah sure... delay the Game for another Year.... noo just noo...
I doubt it, even if the game was 100% done by Koei Tecmo and Gust with 0% input from IS or Nintendo, it's still a "first party series".What are the chances Fire Emblem shows up? I know it's a 1st party franchise but since it's being developed by a third party developer could there be at least a smidgen of hope for it?
