If there was a new Banjo and it was good, that would make me consider buying an Xbox. I just don't know if I trust current Rare to make a good Banjo game.
 
Rare is busy with Everwild in full production and Sea of Thieves updates. If they're working on Banjo then it's a collaboration with another studio.
 
Microsoft and Square Enix apparently have a good relationship, considering the amount of S-E games on Game Pass. FFXIII, FFXIII-2, Life is Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, Dragon Quest, it had FFX/X-2, VII and VIII once etc. If Sony's exclusivity deal on FFVIIR has expired, what keeps S-E from releasing the game on Xbox? It caught my attention how they brought up the subject as something so unlikely

been playing a lot of xcloud on my mac book in anticipation of me getting the Air m2 when it launches. It has turned out to be a great way to play xbox with the TV being hogged up by the kids.

Very excited to see what gets announced tomorrow. So excited to see what Starfield looks like, and I hope to see some more japanese support thorugh either atlus, or even falcom. If Amazon Luna can get Ys 8 and 9, why the hell cant xbox?

I think it would be so smart to do Kazooie/Tooie remakes so MS can test the market interest in Banjo in present day, then use that renewed faith and confidence to churn out a fully AAA new Banjo title in a few years.

Why would Banjo need a AAA budget? I don’t think they are going to give that type of budget to Banjo even if a future remaster/remake is a success because it seems unnecesary, I’d prefer if they give it a lower budget but that means they can have less pressure the devs of making a game that has to sell a lot/bring a lot of GP subs

Yeah, AAA was a very poor choice of words. I was originally just going to write "lovingly crafted" -- whatever budget that allows the studio to fully express the charm and whimsy of Banjo without any mechanical/artistic compromises.
 
My big wish if there is a new banjo game is that they show at least a little bit of gameplay.

Don’t be like 2006 teaser that ended up being Nuts & Bolts.
 
Very excited to finally see Kojima's next project. Death Stranding was developed in three years only, so we can expect the game to release in 2023-2024

I just watched that teaser on YouTube for the first time ever, and that's an incredible trailer. Such a shame it preceded the game that Nuts and Bolts ended up becoming lmao

Not that N&B is bad, but rather it painted an entirely different picture of what to expect.
 
I am excited to hear but with only 24 hours to go I’m gonna pretend I didn’t hear it because after nuts and bolts and what they did to poor conker…

Nate and MVG. MVG specifically said it will be there. He’s heard from some people about Banjo. He’s just not sure if it’s a new game or possibly remakes.
 
If Banjo-Kazooie actually shows up I just might cry.

(also this is just me being extremely pedantic but I wish people would stop calling the series just "Banjo" - my girl Kazooie is just as important, dammit :mad:)
 
If this presentation features a BK revival and Silksong reappearing then really who even needs a Direct (me, it's me. Microsoft is unlikely to fulfill my desire for weebiness)
 
I always read BK as Burger King, lol.

But seriously if there is a new Banjo Kazooie game in development it might have me more interested in getting an Xbox.

Nate and MVG touched on this. Both of them think it may not show up in Microsoft’s presentation. They think it can be shown at a later time in a Nintendo Direct. The anniversary for Goldeneye is August. The announcement can wait.
