Less of all humans not Eggman or Stone. The whole section in Sonic 2 with the female lead's sister and the wedding was garbo.

Sonic has the same problem that Transformers and Godzilla have. Literally no one cares about 95% of the human cast but the studios are too insecure. I didn't want to see Shia and Megan Fox I wanted to see fucking Optimus Prime and Megatron. I wish the one thing that Hollywood gleamed from the MCU wasn't "cinematic universes" but instead was being unafraid of the source material.
 
Hmm I should buy some expensive games off the Wii U VC before it goes in case they don’t get rereleased again.

Like Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon is like $200..

Oh man this is so true.
Especially on profreshional you’d think players would be better but no you still get players who won’t use their specials, won’t do anything unless they get to use a canon, will waste their specials between rounds or will just run off when you have those salmon fly rounds and they get killed instantly.
There’s some other stuff but this annoys me the most

Had two flying enemies and I took out 3/4 of their cannons(?) by myself before we wiped. No one else seemed to know they had to throw bombs in them.

Did a run with just the two of us. I had roller, they had the sniper. Big armoured guy appeared so I could barely reach his head, concentrated on killing the hordes of little ones. His bomb appeared and got thrown half a dozen times before we died and sniper guy didn’t shoot at it once.

Low tide. 2/3 of us died. The one survivor picked up an orb and seemed to miss that the delivery box was right next to him, ran all the way back to base and ran in circles for 30 seconds real confused before figuring it out. By the time he got back and revived us there were 4 boss salmons and we instantly all died again.

I’m not super familiar with Slipknot but this mashup slaps hard. Did you bump the chaining together at the end or is it perceptual? either way hell fucking yeah

I think audio shitposts are just shitposts, and they’re one of my favorite mediums by far

Same here. He evolved into something so fun, and he said on multiple occasions that he pushed hard for the movie character to resemble the game character more. Which is awesome, for an actor as big as Jim to care about the minutiae of stuff like that in what's essentially a kid's adaptation. I think he was insinuating he'll retire in general but still do projects he cares about every so often if they come up. I don't think that rules out a return for Sonic 3, just rules out him being a "working actor." Think Rider Strong coming back for Girl Meets World. And if he does fully retire and decide not to come back... well, considering the direction the lore seems to be going in by the end, I think the series could grow past Robotnik (especially if Stone, in his deep obsession, just takes over in his place).

But we'll see. We got a third movie AND a tv series coming, so we should get some idea soon.

Fyi he’s been in this state since 2016 and it’s how they got him to do the first 2 sonic movies, I wouldn’t be too worried

Serious answer, he’s a D list villain that Sony gave a solo movie to because Venom did well for them.
“A new Marvel legend appears” was the tagline they used for it because they figured more people would care if they thought it was an MCU movie lol.
It’s a meme because it’s such a dumb no one asked for this type thing.
 
Did the Salmon Run hours get bumped up since launch? Looking at the schedule it’s generally available for 36 hours, then down for 6 hours? At that point why not just make it always available?
So dumb that you can get home from work, have a couple hours free to game, and the mode you want to play is just arbitrarily unavailable.

My son is 4 and for some reason he keeps going on about Luigi's Mansion 3 first thing in the morning. Seriously I don't know where he gets his info from (it's usually the news section on the Switch). The last time he latched on to a game like this it was Splatoon 2, he got it for his birthday a couple of months ago, and that worked out.

Has anyone played the 4-player local multiplayer in LM3? What's it like? Are the controls difficult, or is it anything like that Nintendo Land minigame?

Is Luigi's Mansion 3 way too difficult for a 4-year-old? I remember reading that the controls are quite complicated / not very intuitive.

Dino Crisis 1 is Resident Evil with dinosaurs and polygonal backgrounds (like Code Veronica). Dino Crisis 2 is a score-attack game with pre-rendered backgrounds (like RE3 Mercenaries mode). We don’t talk about other “Dino Crisis” games.

I haven’t played the multiplayer, so I can’t comment on that. But LM3 does have gyro controls like Splatoon 2, so if he can handle that game I’m sure LM3 would be fine. The puzzles in the single-player would probably be too much for him though.

That's right! Given recent speculation over the Nintendo Switch and potential next generation Nintendo iterations, we wanted to play it safe and investigate what options we had before fully committing to a Nintendo Switch version.

This reads like “we now know for certain that Switch is the platform for the foreseeable future, new hardware is a powered-up revision that is fully backwards compatible.”
 
i don't see how them making the game for switch says anything about nintendo's hardware plans 🤷‍♂️ they first thought they couldn't run it on the system, but now realize they can (also they probably realized they need the switch sales in order to make the game successful).

yeah it’s almost like for weeks I’ve been saying every little possible thing a company says about Nintendo Switch is “new hardware confirmation” lol

Even if I did know something I would act like I didn’t because I wouldn’t want to get my friend on the inside in trouble. So if I just couch what genuine info I actually know in “subway” and “yakuza” shitposts no one will ever suspect me.

It makes me super sad that we probably won't be getting the sequel to the greatest platformer ever made: Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze.

We need an end to the trilogy starring the Kremlings.
 
I’m interested in Eiyuden Chronicle. Never did play Suikoden but I have been listening to a Water Margin podcast. Good thing it’s coming to Switch or I probably would have skipped it though.
