From what I remember reading at the original announcement, the sentiment was that it would get a Limited Run Games print run. I'm guessing we won't hear anything until launch.
 
Since I live in France, I never heard Cam Clarke before playing Tales of Symphonia -he voices Kratos Aurion-. The PS1 release of Metal Gear Solid was dubbed in French so I also missed him there ^^

Recently Iā€™ve been watching a lot of reviews and stuff about TMNT in the US and yeah itā€™s fascinating to see how much he, Rob Paulsen (witch I know because of Ash Paulsen of Good Vibes Gaming) and the other voice actors are so well known there (for a good reason).

Great to see the team reunited once again, 35 years after !

Neither have exact release dates yet, but it seems like "collection of actual games from 30-year-old Turtles era" and "low-res sprite game with aesthetic of 30-year-old Turtles era" could cannibalize each other.

Tis true.

But thankfully, there are some worthy successors to his legacy. Kevin Michael Richardson did the '12 Shredder in the CG toon, and also did the '87 Shredder during some crossovers. And for what it's worth, I thought he did a fine job.

Another alternative is just to have Townsend Coleman ('87 Mikey) double up and just do Shredder again, just like he did back in the day for some eps.

Not that saw. It has an attack button, a jump button and a Super Attack button. It plays a lot like the original TMNT arcade game from Konami. Maybe a little bit of Streets of Rage 2 there as well.
 
If the reveal is June I guess the date is July or
August? How do these things usually go with LRG?

Did we get any information about crossplay multiplayer yet? That's basically what's deciding if I have to bully my friends to get the Switch version or not.

Iā€™m so happy the game is coming out - and so soon! This game will look crisp and pretty as heck on my Switch OLED, I do believe. ā¤ļø
 
I'm glad this is coming to Gamepass. I can play the game at launch while waiting for my Switch physical copy to eventually arrive.

Game preordered & preloaded on Switch.
I canā€™t wait for the Cowabunga Collection too (preordered online at Amazon France). TMNT 1 on NES was my first game on the system (bundled with the NES in France) and while Iā€™ve been used to extremely hard games on the Amstrad CPC (if anyone here have played Manic Miner on the ZX Spectrum or other 8-bit computers, this was my very first video game), TMNT kicked my ass and left the print of its boots on my butt since then.
 
I hopped aboard the pre-order bandwagon this morning. There is an extended holiday coming up here in Brazil so I will take advantage of that free time to play both this and Mario Strikers.

I cannot wait to play this game! I was already planning a 4 day staycation starting this Thursday, so the timing on this is perfect!

I'm also really curious about cross-play. I'm grabbing this on GamePass, but I have a few friends that might get the Switch version. I play maybe 1 game online with friends per year, so I'd consider double-dipping. Rather not have to though...

No DLC confirmed.. which I guess I donā€™t have an issue with as long as we get a complete package. Not every game needs DLC
 
Looks like it's Xbox/PC crossplay only, with no cross-save. A little dissapointing, but hard to complain since the game seems to be really good. I can't wait!


EDIT: Does anyone know if the 10% eshop discount is pre-order only? Will it go back to full price at midnight?

I'm also curious about performance differences between Switch and Xbox/PS5. I know it's not a graphical powerhouse, but I'm hoping there aren't any noticeable differences between platforms.
