Eclipse is indeed full of it. He was trying to convince people not too long ago that he has insider info by claiming a trailer would be shared at a certain time, and of course it didn’t show up. He shared random screens of BDSP with context he made up that he was wrong about, too, like claiming Ken Sugimori was in the game (??). Him and that Ball Guy account try to coordinate the appearance of a legitimate insiders’ club but are constantly posting bullshit.

It's not because they've been marketing the game a lot this month. Why people choose to ignore the big marketing push that is punching them in the face perplexes me. Regardless, any trailers planned well in advance. They aren't reacting to leaks.

I'm not saying they're reacting, I'm just saying the timing is funny. Also they are definitely going hard on advertising not denying that, but what they are not going hard on at all is new reveals, they haven't revealed any new pokemon since voltorb and haven't had any new info on the game since the december trailer over a month ago

I dunno about everyone else, but for me it’s because said marketing push hasn’t shown me anything I didn’t already know. The amount of marketing doesn’t mean much to me when it’s all old info.

So it would seem that Arceus isn't exactly a Pokemon, and may only take the form of one? Which would finally work around how Arceus is the Pokemon God, but Mew is also the first Pokemon.

Emphasis on the "that". It would implicate Arceus as something more of a force, than a being. For example, if they wanted the latter, they could had used a line more akin to "I am the one who humans call Arceus".
 
Mew is the "first" Pokemon because all living Pokemon can genetically trace their origins to Mew. But that doesn't necessarily mean Mew was the first Pokemon ever. Other Pokemon species could have gone extinct, leaving only the Mew genetic line.

That actually makes some sense this time around then, since it would be like it's recreating us in the past using our description

Back to the wait, I guess. Though we're close enough to release that it probably won't be too long until we get another leak, since that proves copies are out in the wild

This is taking things a bit literally IMO. I think Arceus just hasn't revealed itself to you yet, and it talking to you telepathically is represented by this orb.

Too bad they so often never wait until they actually have something substantial like a new Pokemon/new form to reveal to start disclosing stuff.

So looks like someone sold 45 copies on ebay for 75 dollars to be deliver next week, but can be overnighted for an extra 26 dollars. All sold out now, but we'll see tomorrow whether or not this turns out to be a scam
