Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened - Nintendo Switch (portable mode)

I loved the original game back in the day and so far I'm loving this remake. The Switch version has some technical problems here and there (most noticeably, the characters' hair tends to look weird at certain angles) but nothing game-breaking and considering the game has been developed in a country that's currently suffering an invasion, I'm willing to cut Frogwares all the slack in the world and then some.

I have to say, Returnal has me constantly in awe. It's not so much how impressive the graphics are but how Housemarque makes use of them to create an unsettling and otherwordly atmosphere. I still haven't defeated the first boss and i'm still trapped the first area, but every new room i unlock fills me with dread.

It's THE PS5 game for me as of today

I've taken a lot of pics, but these really show how the camera angle emphatises the feeling of running around in a world built for giants. Previous Pikmin games never managed to give me that feeling, and the closest camera mode was almost useless.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (Steam Deck, medium settings, 800p, 30 FPS target dynamic resolution with IGTI upscaling)

All of them are realtime rendered, and, while the dynamic scaling can get a little agressive during combat to maintain the (very stable) 30 FPS, the game looks absolutely stunning on movement. It feels like the first next gen handheld game.
