There has to be. 11 years. It took 11 years to make this game (all the assets from BOTW beside Guardians were used). They have the definitive Zelda. Why the absolute fuck would they make caves, sky islands, and an overworld only to release around 5 regular enemies (Constructs, Boko Chief, trolls, Gibdos, Aerocudas) while the rest of the enemy roster are either minibosses or seen very rarely? Why would you make 2 entire new layers of the world just to slap in a few minibosses, some robots and "gloom" re-skins and call it a day? And why is this game 70 bucks? As of now, the game is a mile long and an inch deep. The scope is massive, but there is no depth to the world. You know why? This is probably going to be one of the last Zeldas. Instead of throwing away all this work and making an entirely new game (which is very fucking hard), they are just going to keep updating this one for a couple years. They already laid out the groundwork for what this game is going to become, so updating it would be way easier and give fans the same joy that they feel when a new game releases. There is no other reason that Nintendo, a company who is the best in the industry and cares about making good games, would release a game like this. No other Nintendo game has felt this empty and shallow before. There is really no depth to the game in its current state. This game is basically an open beta test, and I can't wait to see what the final product is. It feels like an early access game because it is one. It's a foundation that Nintendo is going to build a 10 million dollar mansion on.
