Film the finale of the classic machinima series "Red Vs Blue" is still in active development despite the Rooster Teeth closure, will be releasing May 7th.

it's specifically an 87 minute long movie, rather than a season of shorter episodes.
Warner has already stated the series is part of the lineup of shows they're trying to sell off. so i'm getting the vibe that Microsoft themselves is going to step in and acquire the rights thanks to it's historical significance (and many references in the official Halo games)
either that, or Paramount will pick it up as a companion to the official Halo television show.

I'll probably watch this even if I've not watched rvb in years. Those first 8 seasons are still very special to me.
