News the classic NES platformer "Shadow of the Ninja" is getting remade for basically every platform.

from Tengo Project, the same team that created the excellent Wild Guns Reloaded and Pocky & Rocky Reshrined.

a decent chunk of the original development team is involved. including the composer Iku Mizutani and the art team at Dynamic Production.

a demo will playable at TGS this september. maybe it'll include "SAMPLE" text on the title screen that will get mistakenly left in the european version when it releases.

But this looks neat! I’ve never heard of this game before, idt. Seems cool.

I’ve never played the original. However, “Painstakingly crafted pixel art graphics formulate the game’s aesthetic.” is like the easiest way to get me interested in a video game. AND
there’s two-player co-op. I don’t have friends, but sign me up!
