Is this even safe to drink? I can't imagine it would be good for your body. Said nitrogen is stored in a widget inside the can that gets released when it's opened.

These new sodas will be launching on March 28th, but you can also pre-order at Walmart to attain a week-long 2x XP boost nothing particularly special.

It’s a thing a lot of beer does so at least there is precedent.

It’s perfectly fine and won’t cause any issues. Lots of nitro beers and even cold brew coffee. This actually sounds like it could be good. Gives it a silkier texture.

I may try this out! I cannot have much reg soda cause diabetic..buuut well..

Interesting. Well, that's a gimmick that'll get me to buy pepsi for the first time in at least 10 years

Ok?

I've made ice cream with liquid nitrogen for public science demonstrations. Tastes great. And air is 78% nitrogen as already mentioned. I'm not quite sure why the OP is framed in a fear mongering way.

I might go hunt down some nitro cold brew tomorrow. thanks for the idea op

Ah, I remember when it came out that cream cheese was fluffed up with nitrogen and my mum instantly flipped her shit and went and started buying a different brand. Fun.

Never seen store-bought cold brew mixed with nitrogen though, but then again I make my own stuff there. Might be worth trying out if I see it though.

I'm going to the US next month and now I wanna try this!

Any other cool gimmicky foods y'all got over there at the moment?

I'm assuming this was a joke thread? I wouldn't drink it because its Pepsi not because like every liquid I've orally consumed it had a bit of Nitrogen with it.

Our bodies are part of the nitrogen cycle so that's not too alarming, but I would still avoid drinking Pepsi anyway.

Seems on brand for this forum considering half the nonsense I read here.
