the other two games areOh wait.
This game is only 40 bucks?
Okay, only having 6 games at launch does not bother me as much then since Golf and apparently two other mystery data mined games are coming?
While the datamined games are probably coming, I wouldn't based my purchasing decision around them since they could end up never coming to fruition.Oh wait.

I feel like Nintendo wants this to be an online casual tentpole release, so as long as it does well I would expect consistent updates similar to like an online shooter, since the game seems to be primarily online focusedWhile the datamined games are probably coming, I wouldn't based my purchasing decision around them since they could end up never coming to fruition.
It's not a "hot take", it's just misinformed on how Nintendo develops their games is all.I did say it was a hot take. I always thought like this. Just don't want another console that Nintendo focuses on these types of games than traditional ones. The current ouput is just perfect for me.
That's not storres pointI mean I understand Storres point, if ur a fan that doesnt care about Switch Sports April-May Nintendo has 0 games for you.
It's also something that we've been through before. Like more than a decade ago lmao. I never expected this complaint to come back. It's not a "hot take", it's just misinformed on how Nintendo develops their games is all.
Are critic scores really lower than expected?, 75 meta seems standard for this sort of game, and thats before online was available, so a lot of the more positive outlets didn't even score the game yet while waiting for online, since that seems to be Nintendo's main focus with this game and its progression systemsYeah, it doesn't make sense, but let's not dwell on it.
I'm still getting this game despite lower critic scores because I had a great time with the demo
Chambara was specifically my favorite
Based on this thread, yes.Are critic scores really lower than expected?
hot take, traditional games are fucking boringThey will focus on more traditional games.
MPSS was a remake game, though. And it still only had EDIT: 5 boards, where the games it was remaking all had 6 each. It definitely had more content than SMM, but I wouldn't exactly call it 'content-rich.'Last couple of party games buck the trend I argue(MPSS definitely has a good amount of content), will agree on the sports games front though,
The issue is mainly with Camelot due to the small amount of staff, if they can just shore up or get more time on the game I imagine they will release way better since usually the games end up being pretty good when all is said and done.
Personally, as someone who has had very few friends throughout their life, Wii Sports Resort was still fun because of the breadth of sports and how "play multiplayer with bots," wasn't the only 'solo' thing to do. Archery, flying, sword-fighting, bowling, golf, cycling, etc all were just as fun solo as they would be with a friend, and they all had multiple disciplines within each as well. The game also had a ton of single-player achievement to actively incentivise solo play.Sure both Wii Sports and Resort (and I assume club but I never player it) have stuff for someone to do by themselves, but again, why would someone be looking to get this game for it's offline single player content? I get being disappointed because it is, but passing on the game completely because of it? This game lives or dies on how fun multiplayer is with friends and family locally and online, the latter of which is unknown until Friday.
Well, true. But more that it is 40 bucks. I thought this was 60. 40 bucks is a good price for a party game to me. That's what I paid for Cotton Reboot and I finished that in less than an hour lolWhile the datamined games are probably coming, I wouldn't based my purchasing decision around them since they could end up never coming to fruition.

I miss out on some Yeah’s!I promise you, absolutely nothing will happen if you don't reply to posts you think might be ridiculous. I tried it and it works flawlessly.
So yeah's are bad design.... hmmm.....I miss out on some Yeah’s!
Checkmate, Dardan Sandiego.
Do any of the reviews go into why they didn't like badminton? That was the one thing I was gonna buy the game for. All I can see is it "feels off?"

the other two games are [redacted] if you were curious
But you know what it does have for those folks? A community game event celebrating Kirby! PoyoI mean I understand Storres point, if ur a fan that doesnt care about Switch Sports April-May Nintendo has 0 games for you.
Some posters definitely seem like all they care about is getting “Yeahs” lol (it’s not a bad thing).
Nintendo didn't have any of these types of games on Wii U though. They didn't put out a real Wii Sports sequel, they didn't really try anything to go after this audience aside Wii Fit U. Labo is also nothing like these games.Hopefully, I always have the hot take that these types of games is ehat led to the Wii U. My wish is for the market to reject them. They already rejected Labo, which was a good thing to happen.
I can make one if no one will. Not sure if we have some sort of timeline for how early they can launch but probably would have to get it out late tonight US Pacific time. I suppose that would work for out PAL territories anyway.is anyone doing an ST for this?
looks like no one has claimed the ST. there's no rush, you can post it anytime you want. usually STs are posted a couple of days before the game is out.I can make one if no one will. That seems like a mistake. The online test definitely included more than one other human for some of the games like battle royale bowling. So I just read on the Nintendo website that Nintendo Switch Sports only supports online play with one other person than yourself... Was looking forward to playing with a couple of my friends together :/
For context, in the "No. of players" section for the game it says "Online (1-2)" and at first I thought it was for how many people you can take online on one Switch (like you can play with 2 people online on the same switch in MK8DX) but then I checked for games like Splatoon 2 and MK8DX and they both say "Online (2-8)" and "Online (2-12) respectively. Which I take as a confirmation that I won't be able to play doubles tennis as an example with 3 other friends, which is a real bummer. Actually thinking about cancelling my pre-order, which is a first.
If it isn't a mistake, perhaps the internet can bully Nintendo into adding more players into the game like they did with Super Mario Maker 2That seems like a mistake. The online test definitely included more than one other human for some of the games like battle royale bowling.
When I played it earlier my favorite sports were Badminton and Volleyball honestly. That said I only played a few games so cant say about it on the long run. I am surprised so many people didn't like it, hahaDo any of the reviews go into why they didn't like badminton? That was the one thing I was gonna buy the game for. All I can see is it "feels off?"
Been digging into he actual website for the ST and the individual sport pages say which sports can have how many friends online. Soccer and bowling both say 1-8 friends (bowling goes up to 16 with random matchmaking) and tennis can have 4. I’ll make sure to add to each sport when I finish the OT.So I just read on the Nintendo website that Nintendo Switch Sports only supports online play with one other person than yourself... Thank you for this, checked myself and I'm reassured. Thanks a bundle!Been digging into he actual website for the ST and the individual sport pages say which sports can have how many friends online.
