Thank you @SuperCharlie78? Is switching between perspectives mid level? If so, does it seem like something that could be a bit dizzying? (Suppose I should really check out a gameplay vid!)

I've played almost to the end of World 1. You can switch anytime you want while playing the level. The perspective change does take some getting used to, and honestly the top-down view isn't the clearest (though I do understand it's partly because it has to account for 2D style)

Thanks, that's really helpful. I'll check a video too but my guess is other indies should take precedence for me. Still happily pouring hours into Chants of Sennaar here.
