No order to these. This is the list I keep on my phone. Like most have said in here, this is a living document that is constantly changing. And it leaves out an absolute ton of games that I adore. But these are the games I most want to share with those I love. I feel like each one helps to explain me in some small way.
 
In no particular order because ranking such beloved games is borderline impossible for me:

I recently played chibi robo for the first time just out of curiosity and it turned out to be perhaps one of my favorite games ever. It's awesome, have you played either of the ds sequels? The first one is good, but the second one (jp only) is almost as good as GC chibi robo.
 
Honestly I'm not happy with my top 10. The fact that there's a lot of games I love but haven't beaten and that I haven't replayed some of games in forever means that I can't put them on the list. It doesn't feel diverse enough. I can't order them:

Always difficult to make a list like this. Leaning towards games I've played over the past few (~6) years. TTYD and Crash are childhood games but I've replayed both of them in recent years and reaffirmed my love for them. Some other childhood favorites have sorta fallen out of the discussion for me upon more recent replays. Feels weird to not have a Pokemon game on the list, or a Mario platformer, but there are only so many spaces. Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Platinum would definitely be on my "best of the rest" type of list (ironically, 2 Pokemon games I didn't play as a child since I never played the 3rd versions as a kid), as would SMB3, Yoshi's Island, and Mario Odyssey.

Basically I had to think back to how I felt the first time playing these, and these are the types of games that just clicked perfectly for me, to the point where when I was playing them, I was aware I was playing something that I'd remember for the rest of my life.

I really need to replay Odin Sphere some time. Historically I always considered it my favorite PS2 game and I still think and care about it a ton, but I’ve only played it once so I’m less sure where it fits in my life exactly. I’ve replayed Shadow of the Colossus maybe…15 times? I’d love to replay Magia Record, but that’s been wiped from existence in English 🙃. I don’t know if anything will ever break my top two.

I really wanted to put Spyro the Dragon on my list. Would definitely be on my "best of the rest" list. In my opinion it's the perfect collectathon. The type that makes you actually want to go for full completion because it's not bogged down by too much stuff and the stuff that's there is actually fun and completely reasonable to get. Tree Tops may be a crime against humanity, but pretty much every single other stage is just a delight. Stages like Dark Hollow and Ice Cavern have been etched in my memory since I was probably 5 years old.

Another person who puts Paper Mario as their #1! You have exquisite taste, I must say.

For my top ten, I'm only including one game per franchise (to make things easier for myself) and also it's too early for me to rank Tears of the Kingdom.
