Spoiler it happened again, Assassin’s Creed Mirage has an unused cutscene that hints at plans for future installments

Ubisoft has made an official statement on the unused ending. New
    • "All we can say is that what's not in your playthrough does not exist," Mirage's art director Jean-Luc Sala wrote, following this up with a winking emoji. Eurogamer previously contacted Ubisoft about the mysterious scene, but received no response.

    the response of ";)" makes me think they might be considering patching it back in at some point. the response specifically came from a Reddit AMA the devs did yesterday.
