Okay so I'm still reeling from that brain-bustingly bonkers Direct, but yeah I'm gonna start going through the footage and listing all the animals. Those farm sims and Hello Kitty are gonna net a lot of folks points!

the power of sheer specificity in lieu of strategy

things that I thought would be neat in a game, basically

there are some trappings β€” orb weaver spider would have been wildly pertinent for Silksong, but I didn't expect to see it. what I got instead was Zelda's spider echoes.

also a specific species that basically means "vampire bat"? that's not a huge stretch, if a game is going to make an "enemy bat" it's likely gonna be a big and distinct one.

I thought it would work for any sort of Castlevania-related thing... or anything with vampires that turn into bats... or any significant bats. Thanks to two seconds of DKC Returns β€” a game I did not expect β€” I nailed it.

You just have to swing for it, y'know?

also @meatbag β€” does it cause an issue for you that I'm on the Canada eShop? I know others have figured it out in the past but I don't know what works best. When I did it, I was able to access US Amazon... but I'm also a dual citizen, lmao.

So I'll actually be traveling to Singapore for almost a week, so I'm gonna have to figure that out first lol. In my experience I've only seen US and Mexican credit in our stores, though.
