105k? Just few weeks away from 7th birthday? That's insane. I guess we really are gonna hit 140m with this baby.

Nintendo has to be pretty concerned with how popular the OLED if the Switch 2 really doesn't have an OLED model at launch.

I think this would be the first time a successor console was worse at something than its predecessor?
If anything it’s just going to make them more confident in doing an OLED update mid generation again.

Definitely gonna be a bummer to start without it, though.

I concur with everyone that says that the OLED Switch is the ultimate and pinnacle of handheld gaming machines.

It's not like the OLED model's relative popularity is new information. If they know it now they knew it 1-2 years ago, in time to make a change if they thought it important.

Switch is way worse at stereoscopic 3D than 3DS was and is missing the camera and mic. Hell, it's only got half as many screens as 3DS. Wii + Remote didn't offer as many buttons as the GameCube controller. GBA is missing the IR communication thingy the GBC had. GBC had a smaller screen than original GB. Etc. etc.

I mean people kept talking about the Deck's superiority far before it's OLED came out....

I've always found the whole master race bullshit kinda in bad taste (this probably isn't a strong enough word) seeing as how it has roots in nazism. I don't care if it's done tongue in cheek or not.

Edit: well now my post looks random lol but thanks for editing your post.

Hasn’t it been established that LCD panels wtih HDR (or something like that), can look equally as good, or even better, than OLED?
