double Marvel EDIT: oh nvmand now there's spiderman 2
I actually prefer it over the Direct style, it's straight to the point with a decent break in the middle. In directs I think they ramble on a bit too much on random stuff to fill in the gaps. The issue is that most of the stuff didn't appeal to us so it all felt slow, but for those who like the games then it must be very exciting.sometimes it feels like they are learning how to pace things like a direct and then they just....unlearn
This is quick sure, but it feels like it's just on a random shuffle. It's super disorienting to jump from Indie to Third Party to Service and back again with no rhyme, reason or rhythmI actually prefer it over the Direct style, it's straight to the point with a decent break in the middle. They confirmed it was streaming? Surprised they're launching that, I'd assume it has limited appeal but who knows, maybe they have data that says otherwise. Think it'll be very niche like VR2 imo. That ps5 streaming device looks awful
I wonder when the game will swing into storesWatching this really makes me feel like I'm Spider-Man.
I get what you mean, but I think they must've done it to keep engagement so the AAA fans don't jump out of the stream, nor do indie fans, which allows them to maybe see other games they like. I think I noticed a pattern where they went [big AAA game] > [indie] (repeat) > VR2 stuff and Q Lite > hype announcements (Spiderman 2)This is quick sure, but it feels like it's just on a random shuffle. I thought Phantom Blade looked cool too, I just wished they revealed more about how the actual game plays instead of how it looks (which is cool). That's one thing I appreciate more about other game company's communication. Not much that really appealed to me on the showcase. Phantom Blade ∅ looked like a blast and I'd love to play it, but that's about it. Final Fantasy XVI trailer was good. The AA/"indie" games too. Everything else felt kinda samey to me.
It was such an afterthought loltheir new "handheld" just being dumped in this shows how seriously they take it
I think it's clear they see it as more of an accessory rather than a serious thing on their lineup. Definitely niche. It was such an afterthought lol
