You know what this reminds me of....
Just had a vivid flashback of slamming into a wall in this, lmao.
You know what this reminds me of....
this post is slightly bumming me out lol—isn't there something exciting about a wacky, novel use of the hardware like this coming from a small developer with a tiny budget rather than from nintendo? isn't there some inherent charm to an unpolished little game that exists just to express one silly idea? i see the warioware comparison of course, and i'm not saying the game looks particularly good, but it's doing literally everything it needs to and is getting some nice traction for it—nothing about it is a shame imoIt’s a shame that the game presents itself as shovelware, because that’s a genuinely creative use of the Joy-cons. It’s like the kind of thing that would’ve happily have ended up in a traditional Wario Ware title as an unlockable minigame if Nintendo had come up with the idea.
Waste of $5.It’s easy to look at this and think it’s silly or whatever but I genuinely think this is brilliant. It’s so creative and inventive. It’s also 5 US DoDollars.
Why?Waste of $5.
It’s actually really funOkay finally sitting down to watch Jon's video on it. This game looks legitimately addicting lol.
Sorry, but this is just ridiculous. What a waste of money.
Lol how in the world is this a waste of money? What a ridiculous notion.Sorry, but this is just ridiculous. What a waste of money.
Just because five bucks isn't a lot to you doesn't mean it isn't for somebody else. I'm a university student struggling for money, so yes, this would absolutely be a waste of money for me.Lol how in the world is this a waste of money? What a ridiculous notion.
1. It's.... five bucks
2. Shouldn't be hard to find five bucks worth of entertainment from this
3. You don't have to buy it
That's true, whomever is forcing you to buy this game is very mean-spirited indeed.Just because five bucks isn't a lot to you doesn't mean it isn't for somebody else. I'm a university student struggling for money, so yes, this would absolutely be a waste of money for me.
Because it's a cute gimmick that has no return value, and I highly doubt any of the posters arguing against it being a waste of money actually purchased the game. Why?
You play games to have fun. All the reviews I've seen of it, from Jon Cartwright to other folks, have praised it. If you buy a game and enjoy it, why would you consider it a waste?Because it's a cute gimmick that has no return value, and I highly doubt any of the posters arguing against it being a waste of money actually purchased the game.
no return value? are the games you play full of transferrable skills?Because it's a cute gimmick that has no return value, and I highly doubt any of the posters arguing against it being a waste of money actually purchased the game.
you play game for profits?Because it's a cute gimmick that has no return value, and I highly doubt any of the posters arguing against it being a waste of money actually purchased the game.
I did. I paid 6 Canadian dollars and played it for like an hour. It’s actually quite fun.Because it's a cute gimmick that has no return value, and I highly doubt any of the posters arguing against it being a waste of money actually purchased the game.
Return value, not return on investment.you play game for profits?
"Played it for like an hour" my point exactly.I did. I paid 6 Canadian dollars and played it for like an hour. It’s actually quite fun.
Why it that phrase so difficult for y'all?no return value? are the games you play full of transferrable skills?
Never said I was finished with it. And besides, 6 bucks for an hour is fine. A movie ticket is like 15, and that’s around two hours."Played it for like an hour" my point exactly.
And, again, I am SURE none of you defending this title have purchased it, or intend to.
Because it's a cute gimmick that has no return value.
"Played it for like an hour" my point exactly.
Why it that phrase so difficult for y'all?
this is unfortunate
The developer released a new game.
i found the original idea very clever though this one leans too far into 'this would be a funny bit if it happened' and not like being so much a fun gameWhy?
To be fair… putting a Joy-Con in a toilet paper roll is probably the most brilliant form of motion control possible. I don’t think anyone can top thati found the original idea very clever though this one leans too far into 'this would be a funny bit if it happened' and not like being so much a fun game
